He's Back!

Amazon, Starbucks, Google, Apple, Adobe, Dell, Oracle, Microsoft, HP etc. Is Working With Lawmakers to Counter Trump’s Immigration Order As They Thirst For Cheap Labor.

It's time to remove their veil of goodness and expose them for what they are really doing - exploitation of foreign workers.

Chicago & Illinois taxpayers need to study the California experience.

California has the nations highest state income tax but it's just not enough, as state spending increases geometrically.

Works his ass off.
Alderman O'Shea is running up 80 floors at the AON center this weekend as a fundraiser for Lauri Children's Hospital.

Eddie Johnson, wishing him the best!

Doing a good job under difficult circumstances
CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson disclosed after a public dizzy spell on Friday that he has battled a kidney condition for more than three decades and is on a waiting list for a transplant.
Johnson said his dizziness at a news conference announcing a crime initiative was due to taking blood pressure medication on an empty stomach. He was taken to a suburban Chicago hospital for several hours of evaluation and later released.

Real Leadership........Refreshing

Working his ass off trying to clean up the mess.

I didn't realize how screwed up the Oval Office had gotten until I started watching President Trump operating.

What was wrong with the democrats that they allowed Obamas to operate the way he did, unchecked.  They would't dare utter any criticism (local dems included).

Trump Twitter

If Chicago doesn't fix the horrible "carnage" going on, 228 shootings in 2017 with 42 killings (up 24% from 2016), I will send in the Feds!

CHICAGO (AP) - A day after President Donald Trump declared he was ready to "send in the Feds" if Chicago can't reduce its homicides, Mayor Rahm Emanuel warned against deploying the National Guard, saying it would hurt efforts to restore trust in the police.
Trump offered no details on what kind of federal intervention he was suggesting or if it could involve troops, but the mayor cautioned that using the military could make matters worse.
Perhaps Rahm is really just concerned with his image of not being able to control the city. Imagine pictures of troops on the streets of Chicago on the nightly news. In the very least, law and order will be restored.

Time to Man Up

One of the primary reasons why Donald Trump is in the White House today is because he didn’t act like a typical wimpy politician during the campaign.

The American people were hungry for someone who is strong, someone who is a fighter and someone who will stand up for what he believes. In other words, they wanted a man and not a wimp. Yes, Donald Trump has done and said some things that are very regrettable over the years, but many Americans were willing to overlook those imperfections because at least he was willing to go to battle. Now that he is president, will he inspire millions of other men to finally start acting like men again?

Too many men today would rather go to the spa than pick up a shovel.

Too many men today speak of the need for “safe spaces” and “trigger warnings”.

Too many men today are living in a state of suspended adolescence and are putting off marriage and family indefinitely.

Too many men today are more likely to be called a “snowflake” rather than a “warrior”.

In an absolutely remarkable article that was published earlier this week, author Todd Starnes made some keen observations about modern “men”. The following is a short excerpt…

In today’s reengineered version of manhood, guys no longer have friends – they have bromances and they settle disputes by hugging it out.

Men’s magazines are now filled with articles like, “Should a Man Show Nipple?” and “What Men Know about Wearing Eyeliner.”

In America today, boys generally don’t do as well as girls in school. And young women are far more likely to go to college than young men. In fact, we have almost gotten to the point where 60 percent of the students in our colleges are women.

And when they leave school, young men are far more likely to move back in with their parents than young women are. In a previous article, I noted that the percentage of Americans in the 18 to 34-year-old age bracket that are living with their parents is now the highest that it has been in 75 years. If young men were living independently at the same rate that young women are, this crisis wouldn’t even exist.

And the truth is that young women are looking for young men that are willing to be independent. A few years ago, Todd Starnes “conducted an unscientific poll to determine what the average American woman looks for in a man”, and this is what he discovered

1. Has a job;

2. Drives a pickup truck;

3. Uses the bathroom standing up;

4. Eats meat;

5. And is willing to carry them out of a burning building.

In other words — they want the kind of man made in God’s image — not the image of some effeminate intellectual stuffed in skinny jeans sipping chai tea with his pinky finger extended.

And a more scientific survey that was conducted a few years ago found that 75 percent of all American women do not have any interest in dating unemployed men.

Women want men that will love them, protect them and provide for them.

Unfortunately, those kinds of men are being systematically demonized in our society today. To the liberal mind, the “traditional man” has come to represent “male oppression” that must be eradicated at all cost.

This may sound strange to you, but this is the kind of philosophy that is being pounded into the minds of impressionable young adults at colleges and universities all across the nation. And some of these impressionable young adults buy into this philosophy to a frightening degree.

For example, one very prominent feminist blogger has actually called for the eradication of all men

A controversial video blogger has suffered a social media backlash after a video of her suggesting that the male species be wiped out – including babies – re-surfaced.

US vlogger Jenny McDermott, 33, made the bizarre ‘kill all men’ content in July last year and posted it on her YouTube channel.

The 33-year-old, who’s Twitter bio describes her as a secular humanist and trans loving feminist, rants in the short video that she’s ‘sick of being a baby factory that produces more men, that in the future will subjugate me.’

Someone might want to tell her that the human race would cease to exist without men, because apparently she hasn’t thought that far ahead.

But while McDermott may be on the outer fringe, the truth is that she is just a very small part of a very powerful “anti-male” movement in this country.

If you can believe it, at this point even some divinity schools are telling their professors not to use male pronouns for God

Two prominent divinity schools have instructed their professors to use gender-neutral language when referring to God.

According to National Review, the divinity schools at Duke and Vanderbilt Universities have told their faculty to give “consistent attention to the use of inclusive language, especially in relation to the Divine,” in an effort to be more “inclusive” and to “mitigate sexism.”

Of course if men want to be respected, they need to start acting like gentlemen instead of like deranged animals.

I often quote from two different surveys when I talk about the state of men in our country. One of those surveys found that 64 percent of all Christian men in America watch pornography at least once a month, and another survey found that 68 percent of all Christian men in America look at it “on a regular basis”.

That is not how men are supposed to behave.

A gentleman is self-controlled, patient, strong, temperate and willing to make sacrifices for others.

But how many men could be described that way today?

In the old days, men dedicated themselves to God, family and country, but today many men appear to be self-obsessed narcissists that are constantly chasing whatever they think will make them feel good in the moment.

If we want to make America great again, then men (and women) need to start dedicating themselves to becoming great again on an individual level.

So ultimately the fate of this nation is not going to be determined by any politician.

Rather, the fate of this nation is going to be decided by what goes on inside our own hearts.

Japanese Tapeworm in your salmon, shrimp and catfish

FOX 32 NEWS - Researchers are warning that a spike in human parasite infection from the Japanese broad tapeworm is likely due to the increase in popularity of eating raw fish as well as the presence of the tapeworm in salmon from Alaska. The tapeworm has also been found in shipments of salmon, shrimp and catfish which was shipped from the far east and Alaska to the Chicago area, during the past few weeks.

The researchers found the tapeworm Diphyllobothrium nihonkaiense in wild pink salmon from Alaska, according to a study published in the CDC's Emerging Infectious Diseases journal. That means salmon from the Pacific Ocean coasts in both Asia and America could be risky to people who eat it raw, such as in sushi and sashimi.

"For decades, the possible occurrence of the Japanese broad tapeworm on the Pacific coast of North America was ignored, but since 2008, human infection with adult tapeworms and natural infection of carnivores (wolves and bears) with adult tapeworms have been confirmed by use of molecular markers," the researchers wrote in the published study. "Our main intent is to alert parasitologists and medical doctors about the potential danger of human infection with this long tapeworm resulting from consumption of infected salmon imported (on ice) from the Pacific coast of North America and elsewhere."

The researchers are concerned that Pacific salmon could be a source of human infection because the fish is often exported on ice, but not frozen, allowing the parasite to survive transport. That could pose a risk to consumers in China, Europe, New Zealand, and the rest of the United States.

Trump has signed orders that will renegotiate NAFTA and withdraws the US from the TPP.

NAFTA was the ultimate betrayal of the American worker. Thousands of factories were shut down and millions of jobs were sent to Mexico.

TPP would have finished off whatever was left.

Black people are the most racist people Dr James David Manning YouTube

Could this be true?

Fresh Air

WASHINGTON DC - Before greeting the American people for a short sprint during the Inaugural Parade route right in front protestors, Trump emphasized part of his Inaugural message in which he said,
"Today's ceremony ... has very special meaning because today we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the people..."
Screen Shot 2017-01-20 at 3.13.25 PM
He also said in his speech, "For too long, a small group in our nation's capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth.
"Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs, and while they celebrated in our nation's capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land."
Screen Shot 2017-01-20 at 3.14.49 PM
And "... American carnage stops right here and stops right now. We are one nation, and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams, and their success will be our success. We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny. The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all Americans."

Then "I will fight for you with every breath in my body, and I will never, ever let you down. America will start winning again. Winning like never before. We will bring back our jobs. We will bring back our borders. We will bring back our wealth. And we will bring back our dreams."

Is there a coup underway, while America is in the transition period, and before Trump swears in as the 45th president of the United States?

How real is the clash between the rogue Manhattan billionaire and the intelligence gang behind the throne? Who will win the struggle for power over foreign policy? These are serious times and require serious considerations.

Brand new, state of the art and the good sisters can't afford to keeping it running. Blame Obamacare. All you people that voted for Obama, look in the mirror.

Monique Davis has retired from the state house!

I was reading the local paper and couldn't believe this woman was still in office. Years ago, she was known for never having an original thought. 30 years of thinking and doing nothing except saying yea. Think about that.

Has Political Correctness Gone off the Rails in America?
Few terms are as divisive in today's United States as "political correctness." A concept that was intended to create greater freedom in the country may instead have resulted in the opposite. It also helped strengthen the right wing.

Obama may want to go out with a bang!

Kremlin says U.S. military build-up in Poland a national security threat

MOSCOW (Reuters) - The Kremlin said on Thursday it was concerned by what it described as a U.S. military build-up in Poland, saying the move represented a threat to its national security.
Addressing reporters on a conference call, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia regarded the move as an aggressive step along its borders.
Why would Obama order a military buildup in eastern Europe during his final weeks?

Needs to clean these agencies up!

Trump conducts his own sting operation to ensnare intelligence briefers – and says he caught them leaking.

  • President-elect Donald Trump described a sting operation he says he conducted after becoming infuriated by a series of leaks about his own classified briefings

  • He says he decided to tell no one about a particular secret briefing, shielding even his longtime scheduling aide, Rhona Graff, to rule out the possibility leaks were coming from his staff

  • When word got out anyway, Trump concluded it was the intelligence community who was putting out information

  • He described the operation he conducted after suggesting intelligence officials leaked a fake dirty dossier of information about him

The Liberal

Leftwing Pathology

The Left, who call themselves liberals and Progressives, are a curious political breed.
In his book, The Liberal Mind, psychiatrist Lyle H. Rossiter, Jr., M.D., identifies irrationality as the Left’s dominant attribute — an irrationality that is “the product of psychopathology.”
At the least, liberals are rank hypocrites. Instead of the bleeding hearts they claim to be, liberals are stingy toward the poor and needy; they are generous only with other people’s money. Instead of treating all peoples by the content of their character, liberals are racially discriminatory; some are black and brown supremacists. Instead of the feminists they pretend to be, liberals are misogynists – hateful and vicious toward conservative women. Instead of their rhetoric of being for the common man, liberals are elitist snobs who constantly denigrate their political opponents by portraying conservatives as ignorant, dumb rednecks without a college education or the proper Ivy League credentials.
At the root of the Liberal Syndrome is a mental and moral disorder. Liberals are miserable, bitter, malcontent people with a perennial chip on their shoulder. They are arrogant and narcissistic, with a self-serving relativist morality. That is why they resent religions that have a moral code, especially Christianity that believes human beings are a fallen creation who are redeemed only through the self-sacrifice of a loving but moral God.

Tom Dart

OUR LEADER (defacto)
Now that things have settled down I would like to know what is Sheriff Tom Dart's position on the Black Lives Matter movement and what they did at 111th and Kedzie. It's been two months since the entire Mt. Greenwood neighborhood was targeted by BLM for perceived racist slights. My opinion then and still is, was that their racist characterization was unfair and needlesly tarnished a group of hard working and morally compliant people.

This question is directed to Tom Dart for three reasons:
1. Because he is the top law enforcement official in Cook County
2. Because he is the (defacto ward boss) political leader of Mt. Greenwood and other neighborhoods within the 19th ward and has political aspirations to be the Mayor of Chicago.
3. He has been strangely silent on the subject while seeming to have an opinion on a host of other topics.

Almost everyone in the 19th ward has supported him throughout his entire political career, despite political and personal differences. We all know that he is a good family man and there has always been an implied understanding that he is a good guy trying to achieve something that would benefit the entire city and by extension, ourselves. It is because of our hope that he gets elected Mayor that everyone has always looked the other way whenever he veered off track. I don't know that we should or even can continue to look the other way, considering the enormity of what happened here in November and his continued silence on the topic.

Everyone's emotions have calmed. Now is the time to examine exactly what happened and now is Dart's chance to explain his silence and take a stand.

This post will be kept open for an indefinite period.

Very Powerful People in the U.S. Government Want War – This is Their Sales Pitch
Michael Krieger | Posted Thursday Jan 5, 2017 at 11:54 am

The rising hysteria about Russia is best understood as fulfilling two needs for Official Washington: the Military Industrial Complex’s transitioning from the “war on terror” to a more lucrative “new cold war” – and blunting the threat that a President Trump poses to the neoconservative/liberal-interventionist foreign-policy establishment.

By hyping the Russian “threat,” the neocons and their liberal-hawk sidekicks, who include much of the mainstream U.S. news media, can guarantee bigger military budgets from Congress. The hype also sets in motion a blocking maneuver to impinge on any significant change in direction for U.S.

A Message from Alderman O'Shea

From Alderman O'Shea 8:32pm 1/1/17
There were two separate shooting incidents in the 19th Ward early this morning, both related to New Year's Eve house parties. Based on preliminary information provided by the Chicago Police Department, one incident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. on the 9500 block of South Hamilton, where an individual was shot outside of a home that was hosting a party. The victim was grazed and subsequently refused medical attention.
The other incident occurred on the 11200 block of South Longwood at approximately 3:45 a.m., where one victim was shot outside of a home. Two other shooting victims, who were believed to be at the party at the Longwood location, were found a short time later near the intersection of Monterey and Vincennes Avenues. All the victims have been hospitalized. None of the victims from either shooting incident are residents of the 19th Ward.
CPD is conducting ongoing investigations into the shootings, though no arrests have been made. If you have any information that may be pertinent to either incident, please contact the police by calling 9-1-1. We will provide you with more details as they become available. Moving forward, all 19th Ward residents are encouraged to contact the police if they see any suspicious activities or if your block experiences any unruly parties or gatherings.
Sincerely, Matthew J. O'Shea, Alderman, 19th Ward

The Dem lineup so far

Plenty of Illinois Dems in the mix to challenge Rauner, some of them competent, most of them a joke.
What's he thinking?

Gov. Bruce Rauner talks to reporters on Dec. 8, 2016. So far, there no official challengers to Rauner's 2017 gubernatorial bid, but he is preparing himself, with a $50 million contribution to his re-election campaign fund in late December. | Santiago Covarrubias/Sun-Times

Two congresswomen, two state senators, a billionaire, an heir of a political dynasty, the attorney general, the state treasurer, a former governor, the senior adviser to the president and a Chicago alderman.

These men and women are among those in the mix as possible Democratic challengers to Gov. Bruce Rauner in his 2018 re-election campaign.

The Illinois Republican Party has already put targets on J.B. Pritzker, Chris Kennedy and state Sen.

Chicago Police start 2017 with new initiative called the 3 T's while 18 people shot during the first 18 hours of 2017.

Some of the initiatives in 2017 focus on hiring additional officers, funding economic growth and providing support for young men in violent neighborhoods, police said. By the end of the year nearly 1,000 more beat officers, detectives, lieutenants, sergeants, field training officers and more will be working for the police department.

Another important focus will be working with state legislators on a bill that would increase sentencing for repeat gun offenders which is a “key factor” in reducing Chicago’s violence, police said.

“These guys know that when they go through our courtsystem it’s a joke and they say that to me and it's a slap in my face when they say that because they are mocking us,” Johnson said.

In the coming year, Chicago Police will emphasize technology, training and transparency in
