Martin Paul McGarry R.I.P.

Martin Paul McGarry age 66, native of Aughoose, Belmullet, County Mayo Ireland. Beloved husband of Kathleen nee: Toolis Devoted and proud father of Theresa (Jim) Lakawitch, Morgan (Meghan) McGarry, Molly (Michael) McAlinden and Nora (Jim “Tank”) Winters. Cherished Papa of Lucy, Marty, James, Kieran, Fiona, Finbarr and Rose. Dear brother of Annabelle (Michael) Kelly, Christopher (Delia) and Oliver McGarry, the late P.J. (Flavia) McGarry, the late Mary (Harry) Reeder, the late John (Anne) and the late Brendan McGarry. Dear brother in law of Marilyn (The late Gerald) Kane, Betty (The late James) Steinhable, Barbara (Andrew) Styczynski, Michael (Theresa Mintle) Toolis and Lita (Donald) Jennings. Fond uncle and friend of many. Member of Pipefitters Local Union 597. Founder of McGarry’s Boxing Club where he coached for many years. Martin is well known and respected in the Beverly Community. 

Visitation Sunday from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at St. Barnabas Catholic Church 10134 Longwood Drive, Chicago, IL. 60643 Funeral Monday, January 29, 2018 Family and Friends will gather at St. Barnabas Church for Mass 10:30 am, Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL. Rev. Daniel J. Mallette, age 85. March 26, 2017. Pastor Emeritus of St. Margaret of Scotland Church. Beloved son of the late Daniel and Anne (nee Kroll). Survived by his beloved Tuffy, his many cousins and friends whom he acquired through his many assignments and ministry in the archdiocese. Lying-in-state Friday March 31st from 3-8 p.m. at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 9837 S. Throop St., and Saturday 8:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. followed by Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. Int. Holy Cross Cemetery.

5 siblings' plea to be adopted together, sparks tremendous response

TOPEKA, Kan. (KTVU) - They range in age from two to 11, and all they want is to be together in a permanent, loving home.

Some are calling them the "Fab 5:" Bradley, 11, Preston, 10, Layla, 8, Landon, 6, and Olive, 2, are five siblings from Central Kansas, who have been in foster care for a little more than year a now, separated and placed in different homes and looking for one family that will adopt them all.
