Monique Davis has retired from the state house!

I was reading the local paper and couldn't believe this woman was still in office. Years ago, she was known for never having an original thought. 30 years of thinking and doing nothing except saying yea. Think about that.

Years ago she was being challenged by a ward 19 pol named moroney. moroney was the machine favorite and had her cornered. monique made some kind of deal with ward 19 insiders and moroney went down in flames the last minute. only thing left was the finger pointing for which there was plenty.

She once told a neighbor who was complaining about something at a community meeting that "i don't care what you think, youre not in my District". She apparently assumed that because the woman was white, that she didn't live in her District. My neighbor corrected her on that point. she looked pretty stupid.

The theme of this blog has changed. We are now headed into a period of extreme political and economic troubles. We want to increase everyone's awareness and show them how to weather the storm. We are going to begin including articles and videos on prepping (food, water, shelter, medicine, self-defense,) basic economics and general SHTF lifestyle changes.

I am not going to be critical of 19th ward politicians. They tend to do the best job they can with very limited resources, and don't need to be beaten up. In fact, people should be helping them as they are among the last "normal" leaders in Illinois.

I am keeping the 19th Ward Chicago name because of the rich blog history going back to 2010 and because there is a ready-made base of similar-thinking readers. For now on, the 19th Ward of Chicago will be mainly a point of reference, an observation deck if you will. A place where allot of good-natured, normal-thinking people still live and can safely view the dysfunction overtaking America. Write whatever you want about whatever or whomever you want. Just keep it true and not vulgar.

At all times, we am going to comply with Blogspot's community standards. We have seen what happens when there is not such compliance.

We will never publish threats of physical violence or baseless attacks on people or institutions.
