When the doorbell rings this evening and you find 8 black kids on your porch, treat them like you would treat any kid and remember they are children. Children that just want to have fun on Halloween. Contrary to local folklore, most of them are chaperoned. The reason they come to Beverly on Halloween? Safety. Treat them right.
Try to imagine the life they have the other 364 evenings of the year.
The difference between humans and animals? Animals would never allow the dumbest ones to lead the pack, even if they first get the money..........

Is this the best we can do?
The 19th Ward of Chicago is one of the most concentrated Irish cultural and Irish Catholic neighborhoods in the country. This is the home of the South Side Irish Parade. It still means something to be Irish around here. With that comes all of the values, Catholic values, brought here by our ancestors.
Is the 19th Ward Democratic Party really saying "we have looked around and found that these people are the best, the very best, to represent our interest in Springfield". If so, they need to rethink it because proponents of abortion and gay marriage do not reflect our values and in fact are contrary to our interest. I will take it one step further and say that they are disrespectful of the heritage that they claim.
2 out of the 3 Democratic candidates have declined the opportunity to present their positions at the public forum this Monday night. A week before the election and these 2 people are going to try to slip in without saying a word to anyone. They are frightened as to having to answer questions that they may not have answers to. And you wonder why we have problems that can't be fixed.
What? Candidates for State Senate District 18, State House District 35, State House District 36, will discuss the current issues.
When? 7:00 PM October 29, 2012.
Where? Parkwood Baptist Church 11333 S. Central Park Chicago.
The event will be moderated by Pastor Thorin Anderson of Parkwood Baptist Church and will be broadcast live on cable TV.

Home Run Inn
Opening soon. 109th and Western. A big recognition to the efforts of Ald. O'Shea. Without him, this wouldn't have happened.
Real estate people
Why is it that these real estate people want to put their pictures up all over the neighborhood. Do they really think that the survivors of 87th and Ashland and beyond, want to see their ugly mugs peddling houses? Bus stops, front lawns, the sides of buildings, enough. Have some class and stop it.
It's Romney in the lead.....
Rasmussen reports this morning that Mitt Romney is ahead by 6 points in the 11 swing states. Romney earns 51% of the vote to Obama’s 45%. Two percent (2%) like another candidate in the race, and another two percent (2%) are undecided.
Romney has now led for 10 straight days. This is his highest level of support to date in the combined swing states, up five points from a month ago. This survey is conducted on a rolling seven-day basis, and now most of the interviews for today’s update were completed after Monday night’s final presidential debate.
In 2008, Obama won these states by a combined margin of 53% to 46%, virtually identical to his national margin.

Finally I have enclosed the following article to re-enforce our hope
Obama Won the Debate but Is Losing the Argument
Americans on Tuesday night watched what was the most ferocious presidential debate ever. Barack Obama andMitt Romney circled and interrupted each other, jabbed fingers, got into each other's space, and exchanged verbal body blows for 90 minutes at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y.
Yet it did not change the campaign's dynamic. President Obama won the post debate polls, but he's losing the argument.
This week, Mr. Romney continued explaining how his agenda would help all Americans—especially the middle class—rise and prosper. He was at his strongest when indicting the president's economic record.
So Mr. Obama continues to run behind on the all-important argument over who offers the better prospect of a stronger economy, greater prosperity and serious deficit reduction. On the essential question of who would be better at handling the economy, CNN found Mitt Romney ahead by 58% to 40%.
The Oct. 13 Washington Post/ABC poll found that 56% think the country is "off on the wrong track." The rates of unemployment, second-quarter GDP growth and labor-force participation are all worse than they were three weeks before any modern presidential re-election. On Monday Mr. Romney reached 50% in Gallup's daily tracking of likely voters—something Mr. Obama has not yet been able to do. No other presidential candidate has been at 50% or higher at this point in the race in this survey and lost.
The Denver debate changed the campaign in a way no other presidential debate ever has. What happened two nights ago at Hofstra University was entertaining and at times illuminating, but Mr. Obama needed a knockout. What he got instead was something closer to a draw. This article appeared in the Wall Street Journal written by Karl Rove

Zoning Issue
There is a zoning hearing at 10:am Thurs Oct. 25th to change the property from Resisential to Open space the purpose of this is to stop developers from EAST of the 19th ward who are interested in developing this property into more small shitty homes like they have already built up and down vincennes. A clue, out of the four maps of proposed new bounderies for the 19th ward the black coalitions list included this property so specific as to come east down 119th go north to on Oakley Ave. to 116th place then head east, look it up yourself. We need bodies in court the time is 10 AM but there are 6 cases to be heard call O'Shea's office for more info. Mark Fleming

Biden $$$$$$
How does this make you feel?
"How was it that HillStone, a newcomer in the business of home building, landed a massive and potentially lucrative contract to build 100,000 homes in war-torn Iraq? Richter didn’t mince words. It really helps, he said, to have “the brother of the vice president as a partner,” according to a person who was present.
CRONYISM: BIDEN'S BROTHER GETS RICH BUILDING HOMES IN IRAQ
Breaking on Fox Business News - Vice President Joe Biden's brother James hit pay dirt when he got a $100 million contract to build homes in Iraq.
The “brother” Richter was referring to during the meeting is James Biden, the younger brother of Vice President Joe Biden.
Since November 2010, James Biden has been the executive vice president of Hill International’s housing subsidiary despite little if any documented work history in residential construction. And if the company’s projections are accurate, both Hill and Biden are on the verge of a huge payday, beneficiaries, some analysts believe, of James Biden’s connections to the Obama Administration through his older brother.

Romney is now leading.
We are seeing the beginnings of a landslide.
Mitt_Romney_campaigningIt is the first time since February that the website says Romney has more likely electoral votes than Obama.
Real Clear Politics now projects that Mitt Romney has more likely electoral votes than President Barack Obama, although Romney is well short of the 270 votes needed to win the election.
On Friday, Romney has a projected total of 206 votes, compared with 201 for Obama. The change came when Real Clear Politics (RCP) removed North Carolina from its toss-up category and put it among states likely voting for the GOP contender.
The move isn’t entirely unexpected, since the Romney campaign is also reportedly moving resources from North Carolina to other battleground states.
That leaves 10 swing states and 131 electoral votes up for grabs, at least by Real Clear Politics’ count.
Recent Constitution Daily Stories
Based on its method of pulling together disparate polls, RCP projects a 294-244 win for Obama, if the voting was held today nationally and if it reflected recent consensus poll results. The victory would come from the Democrats taking Ohio, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Wisconsin and Virginia.
Virginia and its 13 electoral votes seem more promising for the Romney camp as three recent polls have the Republican candidate ahead in the state. Combined with Virginia, another 13 votes from among the toss-up states would most likely give Romney a win in November with 270 votes.
The vote in Colorado, New Hampshire, and Virginia seems extremely close, with a consensus polling gap under 1 percent in the three battleground states.
The X factor could be separate electoral votes that are accounted to congressional districts in Omaha and in rural Maine. A swing of one vote from Omaha to President Obama, in that scenario, would leave the election tied after Election Day, and in the hand of state electors around the country.
In event of a tie, the constitutional system under the 12th Amendment provides for each state, once it settles any recounts or contested votes, to send its electoral votes to the president of the U.S. Senate, which is always the current vice president, to be counted. If that election is a tie, the contest goes to Congress to be settled.
On Friday, President Obama was in northern Virginia trying to get out the vote for the Democrats. Romney had appeared in Virginia on Wednesday.
The Washington, D.C., television market, which broadcasts into northern Virginia, has been saturated with attack ads from both candidates and their surrogates.
Even the debates have been corrupted.
OBAMA, CAUGHT IN A LIE THAT WILL HAUNT HIM, TEMPORARILY RESCUED BY CANDY CROWLEY
As we have frequently noted here and on the Teri O'Brien Show, during any of these presidential debates, the Republican candidate must fend off two Democrat opponents, the other candidate and the moderator. Last night's tag team featured Barack Hussein Obama and Candy Crowley. Even The Hill admits that she performed well for her democrat team. In a story headlined "Moderator Crowley helps Obama rebut Romney on Libya," they write:
President Obama had the help of moderator Candy Crowley during Tuesday's second presidential debate when rebutting an argument from Mitt Romney about his administration's response to last month's attack in Libya.
Romney and congressional Republicans for weeks have been lambasting the president for taking too long to qualify the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi that left four Americans dead on Sept. 11 as a result of terrorism.
In response to a question about the assault, Obama said he had called it an "act of terror" during remarks the next day in the Rose Garden, and Crowley vouched for him.
Romney was visibly surprised by the president's answer and appeared to believe he'd caught the president in a lie.
“You said in the Rose Garden, the day after the attack it was an act of terror? It was not a spontaneous demonstration? Is that what you're saying?” Romney said. “I want to make sure we get that for the record, because it took the president 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi an act of terror.”"Get the transcript," Obama replied.Crowley then broke in, saying: “He did in fact, sir. So let me — let me call it an act of terror …”“Can you say that a little louder, Candy?” Obama shouted.
Of course Barack Obama used the words "act of terror." He was talking about the original 9/11 attacks during those Rose Garden remarks. If that weren't the case, there would have been no need for Susan Rice to go on those 5 Sunday shows on 9/16/12, and try to sell that ridiculous story that four Americans were murdered because of a silly YouTube video that almost no one saw.
After the debate, Candy admitted that Mitt was correct. Also from The Hill article:
In an interview after the debate on CNN, Crowley said Romney's broader point that the Obama administration didn’t initially call the Benghazi assault a terrorist attack was correct."He was right in the main, I just think he picked the wrong word," Crowley said.A timeline compiled by The Hill shows that National Counterterrorism Center director Matthew Olsen was the first member of the Obama administration to call the Libya assault a terrorist attack, and did so during congressional testimony on Sept. 19. The next day, White House press secretary Jay Carney said it was "self-evident" that the assault was terrorism.
"Picked the wrong word?" Are you kidding me? Facts are facts, Candy. I would say that you should be embarrassed, but I don't think it's possible to embarrass these Lame Stream Media weasels.
Obama and his team may believe that they dodged a bullet and put this issue behind them, but I think this lie will come to haunt them in the next debate, which happens to be about foreign policy. His pal Candy is on the record as saying that Mitt was right. Even the reporters at The Hill can see that Obama's story isn't true. Revising history is an important strategy from the leftist playbook. Unfortunately for them, this incident is fresh in our memories, and it's not going to work this time.

Enough!
Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. Is Hanging Out at Bars While Under ‘Doctor’s Care’
When Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. emerged fromlast summer's disappearance—he had, his family said, been seeking treatment for bipolar disorder at the Mayo Clinic—his chief of staff told reporters that he was "convalescing with his wife and children at home in Washington." But last week, he was seen convalescing in a D.C. bar with two different women on two consecutive nights.
According to two independent sources, Jackson was spotted drinking at Bier Baron Tavern, a craft beer bar not far from Dupont Circle, on Tuesday and Wednesday nights last week. Each night, he was accompanied by a different woman. According to both sources, Jackson was drinking. "They were laughing and very focused on each other," one source said of Jackson's demeanor on Wednesday night. "Not sure when they left but I saw them there around 10:30 p.m. They didn't appear intoxicated or loud, but were definitely enjoying themselves."
The second Obama term.
Do you want to know what life will be like in America during the next Obama term? Here is a glimpse. Some of this is already happening.
- Federal tax increases for everyone. Increases will be in the base rate, capital gains and dividends.
- Accelerating inflation, up to 25% per year. Lead by increases in fuel and food. The government will tell us that we shouldn't consider fuel and food increases because they are so "volatile", and that the "core inflation rate is very low. Obama supporters will try to believe it.
- Spot shortages of fuel and food. These shortages will begin with pork and bread during 2013. The government will tell us it's only because of the 2012 drought. Obama supporters will try to believe it.
- Slow growth. The QE 3 action is only for purposes of keeping the lid on things during the election.
- Surging unemployment. Massive layoffs resulting from Obamacare. Obama supporters will try to deny it.
- War with Iran and possibly Pakistan.
- More cities going bankrupt as they decide to not honor their pensions. Obama supporters will try to get by without their pensions.
- Possible state bankruptcies. California and Illinois will try to package everything up and discharge it.
