There will not be any debates. Fernadez does not even deserve to be on the ballot.

      Fernandez has an outstanding resume.

If there are nre no debates, it will because the endorsed candidate fails to show.

Let's talk about scholarships for kids of politicians.

Of course not. Why should we have any debates and why should Fernandez be allowed on the ballot? Why should the residents of the district even be allowed to CHOOSE who represents them? After all we have this great brain trust of the 19th Ward Democrats to take care of us. All we have to do is vote for who the decide should represent us...and then give them more money when they ask for it (and they do like to "ask" for it). Why should some guy who does not have an Irish surname be allowed to even RUN for office? You are right though. There will be no debates. They cannot afford to put up a fighter in the ring where the other guy, the refs and the rules have not already been completely bought and paid for. Just look at Obama. Every debate he loses a little more in the polls. When people actually get a choice - they don't always vote for the Democrats. But hey they have done such a great job running the city, the county, the state and the country. Maybe Fran would fit in better.

  2. There should be. And the most important question is how will they deal with pension reform -- specifics, please.

    Agree with MPots.

Without specifics on what Fran plans for pensions I got to vote for the other guy.

Let them debate it out. The voters need a chance to come out, see the candidates, learn about the candidates and decide who they want to represent them. Has anyone contacted the candidates?

You can't get ahold of Fran to get a garbage can replaced so you can be damn sure you will never get ahold her to answer any questions regarding her campaign.
