Condition of streets.

Whenever we go shopping at Dominicks, I always take the same streets back home. I have noticed that the 5 year old payment on Talman between 111th and 113th is failing. Some kind of a Daley sweetheart deal I'm sure. I was wondering how many other streets in the neighborhood are about to fail. Is there anyway of getting them fixed the right way?

And, my husband and I were discussing this morning, how the City is no longer striping the pavement, not even on the major streets (except maybe 10' from an occasional intersection). In the early AM, especially when the pavement's wet, people are all over the place!

  2. I'm over in beverly and I can tell you they aren't much better over here. Driving through the neighborhood is quite a challenge. Even longwood has bad stretches forget about the other side streets, I know I have a couple of filling loose from traveling around the 19th ward.

The 11th ward contractors may have been taking shortcuts. Now we are going to pay.

My neighbors & I petitioned for speed bumps at the end of Rugai's term....It was put in the system, but to no avail, we still are without the badly needed speed bumps"for the children"!!!..and cannot get a response from Matt's office

How do you get your speedbumps taken out, since I can't find any one who wanted them in the first place?

No. Absolutely not. They will continue to be patched in piecemeal fashion, and only then after innumerable requests.

Mayors office claims pothole service requests are current with a 2day turnaround from being reported to being fixed. Call them in 311

Don't worry about when the holes get fixed. Just keep voting democrat. All is well. Remain calm.
