Alderwoman Silvana Tabares of the 23rd ward is introducing legislature at the city council meeting this Monday to remove any ability of the mayor to make a vaccination mandate for city workers.
The legislature also eliminates the chance that any mandate or procedure ordered by the mayor for CPD and CFD can result in termination by CPD or CFD if not complied to (without the council’s approval).
She’s backdating this legislature to be effective October 1st, which would eliminate this vaccine mandate and give our stripped CPD and CFD brothers and sisters their jobs back!

Tell your neighbors, friends and family to call their alderman, or even better, go to your alderman’s office.
Demand they back the legislature that will be introduced by Tabares this Monday.
