WTF

A bankruptcy filing is probably appropriate at this juncture.

Advice to Mayor Lightfoot: you didn't create this mess, don't wear the jacket.

Your dead on. I waste 3-4 hours a day of taxpayers money. I'll just sit at Bourbon street an extra hour a day.

Why is no one talking about how much revenue goes into TIF Districts? There is plenty of money repeat there is plenty of money there is plenty of money!!!!

Pause funding these TIF Districts until budget balanced.

I'd say cut about 50 assistant deputy commissioners in charge of drains, alleys and streetlights. That would certainly be a good start. Actually, the problem isn't fixable. Pay and benefits far too high and not commensurate with the duties performed. Outdated union work rules. Bloated payrolls due to jobs created for the connected. Prevailing wages paid for tradesmen. It's gone on far to long and at this point it's beyond fixing.
