Are Target's practices getting a little racist? Where is the outrage?

Wow. Right in front of everyone and hardly an objection raised. Black's economic rights are trampled and nobody cares. Everyone has been bought off.

Target has announced they are closing two stores located in predominantly black neighborhoods on Chicago's south side while opening two stores located in predominantly white neighborhoods on Chicago's north side. The racial motives are quite obvious. Who makes decisions like this?

Where are the reverends, protestors, marchers, boycotters, news media, rabble-rousers etc?

This kind of crap bothers me.

  2. The motives of the retail industry are not based upon race. They are based upon "Profit and Loss". When the shoplifters outnumber the paying customers, it is common sense to close the door

  3. Hey Bubba,
It's about the"Bottom Line!!" "BLACK" has a lot to do with it but not the color of the skin of the people who frequent the store!! I'd venture to say that the "Shrink" factor exceeds the projected amount to the point where the store(s) are "LOSERS!!" TARGET is in the business of "Making Money!!!" not giving it away!! Once "Shrink" gets the upper hand... your dead in the water!! When your "BLACK" bottom line turns "RED" yer' DONE!!
SO!!, they close the store and open in a more "Economically Friendly" area!! The bitches can scream racism, their feelings are hurt, humiliated and what ever else they want.... sorry, "It Don't COOK!!"
    Sorry Charlie!!!!,

Maybe Rahm and Obama can pay the difference between profit and loss, You know, for the community.

  5. The grocery store Jewel closed a few years ago in Olympia Fields. An example of extreme shrinkage. Constant cases of people walking out with shopping carts full of unpaid groceries.

Olympia Fields is in worse shape than Beverly / Morgan Park.

Either of these locations (Chatham or Morgan Park) would be a great spot for the Obama Library. The people's parkland would be preserved and the community would get a boost.
