Jury awards zero to LeGrier family in wrongful death lawsuit against Rialmo

Earlier media reports of a million $ award were erroneous. Justice has been done.

I am heartbroken. I was hoping daddy, who hid his sad self, then called the police, like they always do, would get maybe ten or twelve trillion from the little guy. Also, momma will have to pay for her own hair extensions and nails from now on. Northern Illinois U should also protest the slaying of their honor student.

Not so sure of that. Jury findings of fact are pretty much set in stone.

  5. Bravo!! More of these cases should be taken to court instead of the city doing it's usual rollover and shelling out 5 million bucks. Kudos to all involved. Looking forward to seeing Officer Rialmo back on full duty

Holy crap, Brodsky can actually chalk this case up as a win. Guess there's a first time for everything.

About time some common sense prevails, ignorant juries are great at spending other people's money.
