French Gov't invites Americans to move to France as the the French quietly make evacuation plans!

THE FUTURE FRANCE

French President Emmanuel Macron offered Americans a "second homeland" in France to help "make our planet great again," a clear jab against President Trump after he announced that his administration will reject the Paris climate agreement.

In a short video posted online Thursday, Macron said that while he respects Trump's decision, it was a "mistake" for the U.S. to exit the international accord.

"Tonight, I wish to tell the United States: France believes in you. The world believes in you. I know that you are a great nation," Macron said.

He called on certain types, like scientists and "responsible citizens" who were disappointed by Trump's announcement, to come to France.

"I call on them. Come and work here with us. To work together on concrete solutions for our kind, our environment. I can assure you France will not give up the fight," Macron said.

Macron assured those who are skeptical of the Paris Agreement's future that the accord "remains irreversible and will be implemented" by those nations still committed to it.

"Make our planet great again," he concluded, a reference to Trump's campaign motto: "Make America great again."

No thanks, gun laws are draconian in France. At least here I can own just about anything.

I am not going to be critical of 19th ward politicians. They tend to do the best job they can with very limited resources, and don't need to be beaten up. In fact, people should be helping them as they are among the last "normal" leaders in Illinois.

I am keeping the 19th Ward Chicago name because of the rich blog history going back to 2010 and because there is a ready-made base of similar-thinking readers. For now on, the 19th Ward of Chicago will be mainly a point of reference, an observation deck if you will. A place where allot of good-natured, normal-thinking people still live and can safely view the dysfunction overtaking America. Write whatever you want about whatever or whomever you want. Just keep it true and not vulgar.

At all times, we am going to comply with Blogspot's community standards. We have seen what happens when there is not such compliance.

We will never publish threats of physical violence or baseless attacks on people or institutions.
