Sen. Richard Blumenthal was accused of misrepresenting his military service record on at least 2 occasions. As far as I'm concerned, he should resign and go live in shame during his remaining years.

Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, who once apologized for misrepresenting his military service in Vietnam, claimed President Donald Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey “may well produce impeachment proceedings.”
“It may well produce another United States vs. Nixon on a subpoena that went to United States Supreme Court,” Blumenthal said in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “It may well produce impeachment proceedings, although we’re very far from that possibility.”
If he had any decency, he'd go home and kill himself.

DeleteThere are thousands of Viet nam era draft avoiders who paid and scammed there way into reserve units to avoid Viet Nam deployment. President Johnson for political purposes deliberately protected National Guard and reservists scammers who either paid to get in or were connected. The 19th ,11th, 14th 10th wards big time avoiders. Blumenthal, Busch, Daley, Burke to name a few. Just ask any baby boomers in our ward and you will be shocked. Another scam was to work in a Catholic high school and when the draft was cancelled they all chased politcal jobs or elected office.
