DURBIN BLAMES KOCH BROS FOR GOP SKEPTICISM ON CLIMATE CHANGE FEAR-MONGERING
WASHINGTON DC - U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin told reporters that he expects Republican opposition to Obama’s "Clean Power Plan." The exception, however, may be his Illinois colleague Mark Kirk, who has traditionally voted with the Democrats on such issues and is attempting to curry favor with the environmentalists who have attacked his reelection campaign of late.
Speaking to the media, Durbin claims that donors are to blame for GOP opposition to the President's mandate, which requires job creating businesses to cut their carbon emissions an additional 32 percent by 2030.
Durbin, who often uses the Koch Brothers as a type of Republican boogie-man, remained true to form saying:
“They [the Kochs] are doing everything they can to slow down this effort to have the kind of protection we need for our environment. It’s time for the voters to speak up and say my child’s future on Earth is more important than the Koch brothers’ profit.”
Opposition to Obama's environmental decree came from U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a moderate Republican, who earlier this year sent letters to governors around the country encouraging states to oppose the new regulations.
John Coleman, former Channel 7 meteiorologist and founder of the Weather Channel, said in a lengthy article published a few years back, that the global warming issue is all bullshit, that the earth goes through cycles every millennium or so where temperature variations rise and fall. The myth continues with the Socialist left leaning president and Senator Limp Dick Durbin and the other guy who bullshits about his past military prowess. Three career bullshit artist from our state of Illinois. Throw in a Luis Gutierrez and Bobby Rush and its no wonder how screwed up our state is. Mark Kirk doesn't know he's even alive.

ReplyDeleteDurbin is a classic leftist in the Saul Alinsky mold....no wonder he loves Obama.....if you want to see who the heroes of these far far left radical politicians....read Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.....you will see exactly what goes on in the brains of these brainwashed lunatics. BTW Alinsky dedicated his book to Lucifer who he says was the first revolutionary. My God how can you Democrats in the 19th Ward go along with these maniacs? Your Grand Pappies would have rose up in the streets and marched on the Offices of these traitors!! I was at a wedding Reception with two families of Union members.....ALL were complaining about no jobs for their kids graduating from college....I waited ....swung level....and crack....out of the park....they don't even put two and two together.....duh...who is running things....I gracefully pointed out to them how there was so much more union work when Bush was President.....they cringe but have no real answer....just a moment of clarity followed by falling back into the union talking points. Oh well I am not in a union so too bad for them....they don't even know who is really on their side...
