Not sure whose idea the advertising campaign against Madigan thats running on TV is, but it strikes me as totally no class. The speaker is there, is more experienced and obviously more influential than the governor. This move by Rauner seems more centered on trying to paint the Governor as a "man of the people" than trying to solve the issues troubling the state. Its dangerous when elected officials start to believe their own bullshit. As far as the "man of the people", its kind of hard to relate to a guy who owns 7 or 8 homes when you're just keeping your head above water paying for one.
I guess my post did not agree with the blogger so it didn't make it in. There was nothing in my post that was outside the accepted parameters so I can only surmise you just didn't like what I had to say. Disappointing.

ReplyDeleteEgo issues...................
ReplyDeleteHe is screwing with Madigan. The last governor that did that is living in Colorado now.
ReplyDeleteHe will destroy the state in order to prove he is right. What if he is only partially right?
ReplyDeleteWhat are the odds this guy is still living in Illinois when his term expires? Surely he couldn't be stupid enough to believe he'd get re-elected.
