I remember the good mayor Sexton saying that someone is going to die in the ambulance one day because of these trains. They have gotten too long, too frequent, and too often are stalled for an hour. We need more people like Sexton who will stand up to CSX and less like Cunningham and O'Shea who take their money.
This is a travesty. If someone in my family was delayed medical attention because of this, I'd sue! Sexton from Evergreen has been calling out CSX for their negligence and the safety concerns they have created for our area. What have we heard from O'Shea, Cunningham, Hurley and Burke. Nothing, and each of them have raked in thousands from the train companies. Another payoff!
I sincerely hope that the incident this ambulance was reporting to was not a life or death incident, but come on! Something needs to be done. And I mean something besides taking money from the railroads that are causing this problem. You're supposed to be a leader Mr. Cunningham, but where are the ideas to help stop or prevent these things from happening?
this is what getting sold out for $2,500 looks like from CSX to Cunningham. pretty cheap when you think about it? I feel bad for the poor soul stalled in the ambulance trying to get to Little company of Mary hospital. thanks again Mr. Cunningham Patricia Ruzich
These Chicago machine politicians like cunningham, hurley, Burke, and Oshea must go! They're all related. It's crony nepotism and they don't think the voters will hold then accountable.
Definitely a public safety issue,
ReplyDeleteespecially when the only South Side trauma center is in Oak Lawn.

ReplyDeleteSounds like that $2,500 is hush money for Cunningham. Ignore the problem and we'll keep filling your campaign coffers.

Our Democrat elected officials have taken voters for granted and become complacent.
ReplyDeleteElect Republicans. Remind the Republicans every day that Democratic complacency is what got them elected.
