Been working hard.

Last week, President Barack Obama authorized targeted attacks not only to protect Iraqi minorities from ISIS' murderous rampage, but also Americans stationed in the Kurdish regional capital of Irbil.
Hundreds of U.S. military personnel are in Iraq, including advisers sent in recently to coordinate local military officials fighting ISIS. Many of them and U.S. consular staff are based in Irbil.
Obama cautioned that the campaign will be a "long-term project." "I don't think we're going to solve this problem in weeks," the President told reporters Saturday as he left for vacation at Martha's Vineyard.
But he reiterated his vow that no U.S. combat troops will join the fight.
Striking ISIS also defends the United States' interests at home, the President said Saturday. Terrorists massing in Syria and Iraq could lash out at Western targets, he said.

All this going on, God forbid you postpone that vacation, date nights with the Mrs. or any Beyonce concerts. Hey asswipe, if you wanted to screw off your entire 2nd term, you shouldn't have run. Nobody's watching the store, and the country, and more specifically, your home town, is going to shit. I'd like to kick John Kerry in the ass for letting you give that speech at the Democratic convention, and the same goes to the Tribune for the FOIA filing that resulted in leaking all the divorce proceedings of Jack Ryan, without whom, you'd still be running around the south side kissing Emil Jone's ass for a patronage gig.

I wonder if any jihadist militants snuck across the Mexican border into the US recently. How would we know?

As I posted last week, this guy is to blame utterly for the complete breakdown in Iraq. ALL of our hard fought gains have been handed right back to our enemies who have already stated that they are coming for us. This is just the end of the beginning. The Middle East is in flames and completely destabilized while. Obamas patented "Lead from Behind" strategy is a complete failure. We MUST inform our friends and neighbors. The media will NEVER do so.

I may regret saying this, but I support these efforts. I would like to see an independent Kurdistan as well.

At face value I would agree. However, a multi state solution is a fantasy. After all where did the ISIS animals come from? Syria and beyond. Any state set up separate...that does not conform to these maniac's world view will be targeted as well. The goal must be to be victorious over them and defeat them. Of course the definition of victory is certainly open to discussion. But ignoring this part of the world will not stop them and will not solve the problems. These people are brainwashed maniacs who are on fire for blood letting.
