Preckwinkle is out. Dart is next up to bat.

Preckwinkle took herself out for a reason.  Let's just say she may not have been able to withstand the scrutiny.

Now the Daleys look to Dart.  Can he hit one out of the park or will he strike out?

You said the Daleys were running Preckwinkle against Rahm. You've lost some credibility. Do you really think they'd back Dart?

No, I have nothing to win or lose should Dart run. I just find it odd that you basically said to take it to the bank that the Daleys were running Preckwinkle and of course, I wish it were true. I do not like this little carpetbagger we have for Mayor and for the record, I really wish Dart had stayed in the race four years ago, because I think he could have given Rahm a run for his money and this city would not be in the dire straits that it is today. It just seems like Dart has angered a lot of people in the last four years...though hardly as many as Rahm. My vote is for Dart!

She is not running because of the very close scrutiny Rahm will bring. Evidently, she has something to hide. Same with Dart, plenty of things to hide. He won't run either.

I hope so, but I think Chicago is fairly messy. I think that federal office is a better position of Governor or AG.But that is just my opinion.

Chicago is in deep trouble with a pension crisis, rising crime, shortage of police officers, and the effort to strong arm commuters.

The train robbery yesterday is absolutely funny. We are really hitting bottom. My humor is caustic.

"Sheriff Tom Dart ramping up Chicago warrant arrests to quell violence - Everybody is asking why after all these years as Sheriff would Tom Dart actually try and do police work?"

All this BS about Dart...and Karen Lewis. At the end of the day its about money, and who can raise it. If you remember the last time Dart was touted, he wimped out about not being able to spend time with his family, etc.,etc. As far as Lewis is concerned, who's gonna pony up the dollars for her campaign? Time to be real folks, the only one with the bucks to run is the little man who's already on the fifth floor.

I'll vote for him just to get him out of the Sheriff's Dept. Tom Dart I just want to let you know the new computer system you are spending millions on for the second time in the last 5 yrs is garbage. I took the 8 hrs class and didn't learn a thing about it other than being told it will have some problems. You need to address the problem . by the way I like the new drive way made of uni-lock brick. How much money did that cost maybe 250,000.00.How much for the camera system for the jail in the millions. How about the new TACO BELL looking building cost at the jail in the millions again.Rumor has it the you built the building for the homeless to take shelter at during the bad weather. Like we didn't have enough problems are all these post around the jail already. Now we will have smelly bums sleeping in million dollar shelters.
