There are people, groups, even a Supreme Court Justice, who is on record as suggesting that the US Constitution is outdated and obsolete. Could the Constitution be the next institution which will be attacked because of it's "extreme" views?
An overhaul of the Constitution would take care of the abortion issue, gun issue, gay issue, deficit spending issue, freedom of religion issue, immigration issue, global warming issue and any other issue that pops into the radical agenda.
It really is scary - and I believe the result of at least one if not two generations of students being taught almost nothing about our system - other than how it is patently unfair, racist, homophobic, patriarchal, and needs to be overturned. An entire Generation or more have been brought up on Hollywood propaganda that relentlessly attacks, Church (stupid), Christians (phony - or worse EVIL themselves, Businesspeople -(crooks), Military - (stupid narrow minded and EVIL), southerners - (rednecks and of course stupid), gun owners (crazy). The teachers and their unions, and the textbooks, contain many radicals. If you don't think so, find a teacher you know and subtly get their opinions on politics etc.. you will be shocked. Now the fruits of their silent revolution are occurring. I say tell your kids to go to local Community colleges and WORK to pay for it. Work is the deodorant of radicalism.
Time for the silent Minority to retake the institutions of our country. Go into teaching, writing, and movies. Businesspeople - start waking up and fighting back against your enemies. Go along to get along with these nut jobs does not work. Beat them at their own game. Go back to school. Put a piece of rubber in your mouth and bite down hard during the endless brainwash lectures and just nod your head approvingly. Then - after you get tenure or a higher position, you can recruit others like yourselves. This will work if you are dedicated. After all, these radical hippy leftovers did just that.
