Reagan Warned Us About Obama

This Hollywood elitist, union-member communist From the bluest of blue states (Illinois) became governor of the bluest of blue states (California); all this after leading a labor union.

You can see his reptilian eyes even in the black-and-white footage. His hair does not look human.

As president, he was barely sober/lucid. He raised taxes. The budget deficient and debt levels exploded (trying to outspend the Soviets). He granted amnesty to illegal aliens.

He gave us Alan Greenspan. He also gave us Bush I, who also raised taxes.

I have never seen such a liberal union-communist elitist all in one. He makes Obama look conservative.

Great speech from a great man.Now it's time for us to man up and demand no more attacks on the Constitution. We live in dangerous times, not the socialist utopia our present leaders fawn over. Wake up Americans or we will lose our freedoms forever. Do we want this for our children and our country?

    It's all George Bush's fault.

Obama was supposedly a community organizer in 005. Does anyone remember meeting him?

Bill Ayers and his wife remember him. In fact he officially began his political career at a small gathering at the Ayers home. I bet there were more than a few closet commies in attendance there. We certainly know about Bill Ayers and his wife - the unrepentant leftist 60's radicals (communists) who conspired to bomb a police station. Years later, when the stealth candidate Obama was now in place as the Democratic Party candidate he is finally asked about Ayers he said he was just someone from his neighborhood. P.S. - Obama and Ayers also served on some Boards together. Wonder what they talked about while bonding?

Anti capitalists, left wing college professor goofs, the media night and day, the $60 billion per year in "active measures" by the communist agents working to affect public opinion in th US (admitted after the fall of the soviet union), the anti-nuclear paranoids, movie upon movie bashing him, Time Magazine cover after cover, example "Reagan's America: And the poor get poorer" with some kid from Appalachia with a dirty face looking at the camera, total hostility at ALL Press conferences - ie more hard questions with interruptions in one conference than Obama has gotten in four years. Yet the economy grow five times as fast as Obama's "recovery" - and he was re-elected in a 49 State landslide with a popular vote among the greatest in modern times. I guess we were fooled. So was the Soviet Union.

The brain washed 19th Ward city jobber, "Proud Union Home" Democrats of today are much dumber than their predecessors in the 1980's. They cling to their city jobs and unions to the point of accepting any sort of insanity. They literally will not listen. Their forefathers were smart enought to see that Carter had wrecked the economy and decimated our military- so they voted for Reagan in this Ward. Today's 19th Ward Democrat has voted for a guy who has managed the country worse even than Carter. During a terrible recession, he decides to open the check book and spend a trillion dollars more...meanwhile unemployment (union workers) have had it terribly. He decides to start a new welfare program, (Obamacare) with massive new entitlements, offers to allow illegal immigrants to stay here (and fight with legal Americans for the few jobs available), sides with the revolutions in the middle east which is already beginning to form an Islamic bloc much more hostile to the US. Fortunately my business can prosper in good or bad times. I no longer feel sorry for you

You seem to not like Mt. Greenwood, or you want to make it into something that it is not nor ever was. You dislike unions, gays, Democrats, Obamacare (me too), and blah blah.

Let's work together to make progress; this anti-union thing is tiresome. If anything, this country could use MORE (not less) union-production jobs/wages to get us out of this slump.

E D I T: and teachers. You dislike teachers, but not just because they are members of a union.

Thanks for telling ME who I like or do not like. I never said I disliked UNIONS, or teachers for that matter. Read what I say, do not read INTO what I say. My point is that union members are following their unions despite commmon sense. I know way too many (private sector) union members who are barely working, if at all. WAY too many electricians, plumbers, painters, roofers, carpenters, etc..etc...are out of work. The union leaders (who make as much as 250k annually) are pushing their rank and file to support the Democrats, who are not helping anybody except PUBLIC sector union members. Where was Obama during the teacher strike right here in his hometown. He said...and did...nothing for them. I have family and friends who are union members and specifically are teachers. If a Republican did not support their strike, he or she would be roundly criticized, but Obama and his buddy Rahm are sticking it to the unions...and the Union Leadership still tells their members that these guys are on their side. And do not forget Quinn and the State Democrats. Democratic politicians have become defacto Socialists. Tell me any main plan they have come up with that does not involve government control as the solution. Socialism stinks and it has failed virtually everywhere it has ever been tried. It is the oldest form of government and is incompatible with a free nation.

Less than 10 percent of workers nationwide are union. I find union members who constantly are griping publicly about how bad they have it - they are tiresome. Shut up, take your guaranteed check, go on your guaranteed vacation time, and stop complaining so much. EVERYBODY has it bad - you government workers probably least of all.

Are you sure you are responding to the right post? I see nothing about Mt. Greenwodd in that post or teachers for that matter.

Unions are a great concept and God knows, have made the US a very worker friendly country. The current union leadership seems to be bankrupt in the new ideas department. Instead of coming up with concepts which can jump-start the economy, they have embraced the deficit based policies of Obama and are too scared to even consider alternatives. The current government programs will soon drown the nation in debt and it is obvious to all. Union leaders have failed their members and the union movement and because of this failure, this lack of balls, union members will soon be paying the price. If you think Bush's 2008 was bad, wait until you see Obama's 2014.
