Time to say good bye.

Lovie Smith
Just as I would say to any politician, 9 years on the job is too long. It's time for a change. We have an offensive line that for the 3rd consecutive year, can't protect a very above average quarterback and an aging defense. He needs to take a year off and then coach another team.

I fell bad for Lovie. He is a nice guy but hasn't done the job.

I haven't watched them much after the Superbowl loss. Showed, he was in way over his head. It's time to go.

I am still in recovery from that Superbowl loss. A shame.

I cannot offer an unemotional comment.

  3. Yep. He's always had a blind spot when it comes to offense and can't seem to have a clue who to bring along to do the job.

Lovie is a great guy - and a great builder of teams in spite of the fools he has for owners. That being said, he is not a good Coach in the heat of the moment and is not able to adapt quickly enough to correct problems and has no short term tactical abilities. My knowledge of Football is pretty basic and even I can see some obvious foolish mistakes. His coaching team is also made up of washed out NFL coaches who are worse than he is. He needs to go.
