Turnout is low. Get out there and vote! If you decide not to vote, don't even complain about who wins.

More of the same. There's no way to get these democrats out. Can't even vote 'em out, they're like cock roaches, they just don't die.

  12. You morons think that you can win a political race by blogging nasty stuff. It didn't work last time, it didn't work this time, and it won't work next time either. Blogging will never beat hard work by a well run, dedicated organization. The 19th ward organization could run a german shepherd and beat the best any of you have to offer.

"It didn't work last time, it didn't work this time"?

I can remember the last time a state rep won in the 19th ward and 60% of the voters didn't vote for the winner?

      Hmmm
Could be an interesting November election?

It is funny how these 19th Ward hacks think they work harder than their opponents. The truth is that the rest of us have real jobs we need to work 40-50 hours on per week. After our real jobs are handled - then what little time we have left we use.. We cannot work on campaingns while on the public dime like the Democrats have done for decades.. and remember the vote tallies do not necessarily reflect that people WANT YOU or LIKE YOU or your positions....they simply like to keep their govt jobs that you have control over...But it is coming...your days are numbered... the black and hispanic groups (that your liberal policies helped to promote) are now going to bite the hand that fed them....Link cards will no longer be enough for them....those homes in the 90's look pretty good....Beverly is not immune from white flight....

One thing for the poor winners to remember is this...what have you won? The opportunity to stick it to your neighbors with higher and higher taxes and fees....you have once again rescued you and your inner circle's chestnuts from the fire... but there is no more money in the state treasury which your party has raided and then borrowed again and again. If Beverly goes downhill like EVERY other south side neighbors virtually has before it....then where will the Irish clan go...who will you rule ? As a private sector employee I can move to the suburbs, meanwhile all the govt employees are screwed..
