Pandering at its best. Are they gonna invite father faker. This is an election year. Why don't we have a prayer vigil every time one of our kids get stuck up for their cell phones or every time one of our businesses get robbed. By holding a public publicized prayer session you are holding out our community as racist to the whole city when it was just the act of vandalism by some pos creep. Just catch the a hole who did it and prosecute him to the fullest instead of acting like we have an anti black problem. In reality we have a much, much greater problem of blacks from outside of our neighborhood coming into our neighborhood to rob white people and businesses. It will take more police not more prayers to stop the criminals.

I have to wonder if this was perpetrated by other black people? The reason I say this is that the area in question is a black area. I have not heard of white people going into black areas to spread hateful graffiti. It seems like in the past these things were done to those minorities coming into formerly white areas. Something seems odd. Could it be that someone used the N word to another black person? It is just something to consider. Also, if it was a white person or persons, it kinda seems like juvenile behavior. I thought I read there was some satanic stuff as well. I don't think this is your traditional hate graffiti situation. That area there has been black my whole life.

Surely makes one wonder. Perhaps CPD can offer some clear and convincing proof that this was
the behavior of a racist white group. Unfortunate that the political establishment in concert with
local and city media represent these incidents as racist graffiti in such a hurry. I have called on two occasions 911 when gang graffiti appears on buildings west of Damen.

    2. I agree, a lot of presumed racism by whites, is conducted by the Africans themselves, hoping for sympathy & concessions from the guilt ridden liberal media.

Local 399? What you have been told? You, we, they, me? Get a life. No one at Local 399 is on the take, and your statements about their engineers being in schools is a bit over-stated. Local 399 has about 50 engineers working in the newer schools, and they work for Sodexo, a private firm. Local 143 represents the remaining 550 engineers working as Board of Education employees. Get yourself out of the bar, Cappie. You're just another whining, bitter 19th Ward flunky that no one ever wanted to get involved with because your reputation as a shit-starting drunk preceded you to this day.
