Gays like Quinn, Quinn likes the Gays

GAYS COME OUT FOR QUINN, GET CATTY WITH RAUNER

CHICAGO - Not surprisingly, Equality Illinois PAC has endorsed Gov. Pat Quinn for governor. In a press release, the gay activist organization wrote:
"Governor Quinn has stood up time and again on issues important to LGBT Illinoisans and their families, from marriage to health care to anti-bullying laws. Governor Quinn is the only gubernatorial contender who unequivocally supports LGBT equality and he deserves the unequivocal support from all voters who support equal treatment for LGBT Illinoisans," said Bernard Cherkasov, CEO of Equality Illinois.
"As for Gov. Quinn's opponent, Bruce Rauner, we, like most Illinoisans, are alarmed that he blurs the line by saying anything in order to win this election; and with all the gains made during Gov. Quinn's time in office, Illinois cannot risk going backwards on LGBT rights. Bruce Rauner is a dangerous purveyor of empty, mealy-mouthed rhetoric, on the rare occasions he has anything to say about these issues," said Nicole Bashor, chairman of the Equality Illinois PAC.

Astonishing that Catholic trained pols endorse gay marriage. Catholic formation is,in part, responsible but the larger issue stems from the career politician profile. Those that join that corrupt fraternity are forced to compromise basic beliefs and become liars and hypocrites. The Democratic party has been taken over by the far left who have for generations been hostile to Catholics. Local careerists in the political game ,sadly, fail to understand that and have been easily duped and most of our neighbors well you know how they vote.

This is so well said. Quinn, Cunningham are trading their basic beliefs for 7 pieces of silver. And Dart, he is so far to the left of the line, any Catholic that supports these people is a hypocrite.

The local Catholic clergy assemble at St. Barnabus for meals and relaxation. Perhaps at their next gathering they can pen a joint document that clearly states the position of the church on gay marriage. Clearly the ward organization is confused and the electorate and faithful perhaps more confused.
Maybe just maybe controversy in the public square not something our pastors are willing to engage. .They must understand that this issue will undermine the faith for generations and to stand by and not engage is tragic.

Think about what gay men do to each other.
    That's pretty disgusting.
