Food is different today because of pesticides and added chemicals that are harmful to the body. Therefore now is the time to teach students of all ages how the body works and nutrition education to prevent diseases and early death from poisons in America’s food.
All students should be taught food chemistry, nutrition education, and how the body works in order to prevent many diseases, cancers, early death, and learn how to live longer.
With knowledge of nutrition, they will learn the chemicals in foods to replace the need for prescription drugs because food is medicine provided for all people and animals on earth.
For example, if I have a problem with my eyesight, I will eat 740 micrograms of sweet potatoes daily because they contain vitamin A. There are many vitamin A foods.
If my hair is very kinky, I eat my vitamin A foods each day, and so on. That information should be taught in schools to allow people to save money on health care, health insurance premiums, grocery bills, prescription drugs, Medicare, and so on. They will learn how much to eat because food is medicine that can kill if eaten too much.
For example, all dark green vegetables have vitamin K which provides chemicals to thicken the blood to prevent bleeding to death or a hemorrhage. However, too much vitamin K foods will cause thick blood and dangerous clots that require costly prescription drugs to thin the blood. Millions of people are prescribed blood thinners because they have eaten excessive amounts of dark green vegetables like bowls of spinach, or collard greens, or avocado, and so on. The body makes small amounts of K, and other lighter colors also have K. The liver stores excess K.
My point is that politicians promise extra money for food when knowledge of nutrition will save money because people don’t need to eat much food and junk sweets. Teach how much to eat based on body size and male or female.
I am 88 and feel 100 percent. At age 88, most hormones are gone and internal organs are smaller and don’t function correctly. The body starts aging at age 30 and knowledge of nutrition can slow down the aging process of organs and the body.
