They SHOULD be turning their backs on government itself, and embracing the Libertarian party, libertarian values, or similar. Switching to the GOP is only a slight improvement over the democrats as they BOTH support big government, central banking, income taxation, property taxation, government monopoly schools, the war on drugs, fiat currencies, government control of medicine, foreign wars of aggression, and so, so, so much more.
