hardest working public servant I ever met
There are a couple of fellas' running for alderman against Matt O'Shea. Is this a joke? Do they think they can help the neighborhood like O'Shea does? They need to sit down and think this through. If they do, they may soon see the folly of their error and withdraw from the race. The other candidates may have sold themselves on running for alderman by considering the glitz and the glamour of being someone with a title, but they hardly considered the reality of the job they are seeking.
O'Shea is on the streets at 5:30 a.m. seven days a week. There is not a block or an alley that he's not familiar with. He is in his office early every morning, taking the endless phone calls and hearing complaints. On Council days, he is organized and prepared to wrestle with Beetlejuice and the socialist. He does it well as he is able to procure ample city services for the ward. Frankly, I don't understand how anyone could operate at such a high level of efficiency, without missing a beat.
The other candidates, whom I'm sure are quite accomplished, have not demonstrated an ability to function at the level that O'Shea functions. If either of them were elected, the neighborhood would suffer - greatly. That's just the truth.

For these reasons, Matthew O'Shea needs to be re-elected.
And he is able to accomplish everything with politeness and integrity.
