The son of a Chicago fireman, his conservative values were instilled in him growing up in Mt. Greenwood and at St. Christina's and Brother Rice. At the age of 24 he started a security business with an office at 101st and Western. Eager to get politically involved in the only neighborhood he ever knew, he volunteered at the 19th ward Democratic organization. Their response was a resounding f--- you. The democratic power brokers on Western Ave. (most of whom are gone) wanted nothing to do with him. They went on to mercilessly screw with him, his family and his business. Suddenly, the state of Illinois audited every aspect of his business and building inspectors visited his office and his home. All because he wanted to help.
He eventually moved to Palos Park, became the Palos township Republican committeeman / Cook County GOP chairman, and got elected a Cook County Commissioner. Currently, he is the only conservative voice on the Cook County Board and is standing for re-election. He is endorsed by he Chicago Tribune, Daily Herald, the Firefighters union, various Police organizations and 53 suburban mayors. This is a man you can trust to put your best interest first. No back room deals, no patronage, no relatives on a payroll, nothing but public service.
SHOW ME A 19th WARD POLITICIAN THAT DOESN'T HAVE A HALF DOZEN RELATIVES ON THE PAYROLL.
