She has another year to tear this city completely apart. She knows she doesn't stand a chance of being reelected. She is setting the table for Arne Duncan, yep the Arne that played basketball with the Manchurian candidate. Arne will be praised by every newspaper and every news station. There is no way that we can allow another Marxist/Socialist mayor and that's exactly what Duncan is. I can only hope that the powers that be don't allow what was a great city to be stripped of anything we may have left. Personally I am very supportive of Alderman Lopez. I hope the powers to be consider forging alliances and backing Alderman Lopez. It will be very contentious as we all know the Obama will be flooding the air waves with commercials for Arne.

I don’t like Lightfoot, but she has a point. These high end elite stores on Michigan Ave should take stronger action. There is no reason a Louis Vitton purse that costs $10k is not locked down or chained in the store. These specialty stores, where the average shopper is not actually buying but just windownshopping The retailers are making it way too easy for these animals
The Republicans are going to clean up in the 2022 elections with a law and order agenda. Americans are getting sick and tired of the lawlessness that the D's seem to embrace.
