You went along with the nation’s most infamous hate crime hoax by dismissing charges against a person that was obviously fabricating a story. A person that was later tried, convicted and continues to assert BS. Where is your voice now? What about the oath of office you took? Did your promise to uphold the law mean anything? Are you ashamed of what you did? The people of Cook County need to hear from you.
That being said, where is Toni Preckwinkle on this? She is Kim Foxx's political mentor and is the one that engineered the dumping of former States Attorney Anita Alvarez. Shouldn't Preckwinkle be made to account for for the Smollett screw-up? What about the lack of criminal prosecutions in Cook County? You know, the criminals that are caught red-handed and are back on the streets in two hours. Should Preckwinkle be expected to at least have a comment? Should Preckwinkle at least have some shame? I think the answer is yes because afterall, Preckwinkle owns all of this.
They all got their suitcase of money, that's all that matters.
