Chicago City Council poised to approve civilian police oversight
Fraternal Order of Police President John Catanzara denounced the district councils and the seven-member oversight board as “useless redundancy” that would further demoralize rank-and-file officers.
It wont work because the Da Machine will control that too. It only gives the illusion of legitimacy
ReplyDeleteSeems it's a done deal, Democrats let the Socialist/Marxists in the hen house, they hijacked the Democratic label and now they are destroying the city. To many quiet Alderman on this and many other problems. I never saw this type of insane governmental policy coming.
ReplyDeleteJust another useless product of the politicians, the police are the solution not the problem.
ReplyDeleteI think we need a few more layers of Boards before we can get things totally screwed up in Bureaucracy.
ReplyDeleteIdeally, there already is citizen oversight. Elections. Unfortunately, in Chicago, Cook county, and Springfield Democrats have complete control and people blindly vote party regardless of performance.
ReplyDeleteWorthless and useless political move. It will accomplish NOTHING. Its like that scene at the Post Office in 1987s The Untouchables "everybody knows where the booze is, the problem isnt finding it, the problem is who wants to cross DA MACHINE"
ReplyDeleteAccording to a document obtained by the Tribune, Brown has promoted at least nine officers meritoriously to the rank of lieutenant, and they were slated to begin their training on July 19. Of the nine, seven are Black, one is Latino and one is white.
ReplyDeleteMake way for DUKE!! Merit promotions are back!
Where is LAPA file a lawsuit now?
Why were no Asian Officers promoted?
