Americans always think that D-Day was the biggest most glorious battle from WWII. Unfortunately the never heard about the Battle of the Philippines and in particular the battle of Leyete Gulf. America had 150,000 men and "Crossed the T of the Japanese Navy. When it was over The US Navy sank 27 ships of the Japanese Fleet. That was the end of Japans Navy on 23-October- 1944
