It's those hillbillies from Chicago Ridge again!

CHICAGO - Police are warning residents in Mount Greenwood and Beverly of two armed carjacking Sunday that are believed to be related.

The first incident happened about 3:40 a.m. in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 3100 block of West 103rd Street, Chicago police said. Three suspects demanded a person’s vehicle at gunpoint.

Two witnesses inside the restaurant tried to help the victim, but were robbed by the gunmen as they exited the restaurant, police said. One of the gunman fired shots

but did not strike anyone. The trio fled in the victim’s Blue Kia.

About 5 a.m., the Kia stolen in the earlier incident was used in the carjacking of a ride-share driver who was waiting for his customers in the 10200 block of South Oakley Avenue, police said.

The suspects were described as three males between 16 and 18 years old wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with information was asked to call Area Two detectives at 312-747-8273.

5 dozen people shot in Chicago this weekend. Mayor Larry could care less because she has more important things to do like unveiling a Rainbow equipped CTA "L" car. Then she gave a speech on Gay Pride.

I am not going to be critical of 19th ward politicians. They tend to do the best job they can with very limited resources, and don't need to be beaten up. In fact, people should be helping them as they are among the last "normal" leaders in Illinois.

I am keeping the 19th Ward Chicago name because of the rich blog history going back to 2010 and because there is a ready-made base of similar-thinking readers. For now on, the 19th Ward of Chicago will be mainly a point of reference, an observation deck if you will. A place where allot of good-natured, normal-thinking people still live and can safely view the dysfunction overtaking America. Write whatever you want about whatever or whomever you want. Just keep it true and not vulgar.

At all times, we am going to comply with Blogspot's community standards. We have seen what happens when there is not such compliance.

We will never publish threats of physical violence or baseless attacks on people or institutions.
