Is It Time To Start a THIRD PARTY?

Unfortunately it is easy to "start" a new Party but actually very, very hard to WIN with one. Look at the Libertarians....if the Libertarians, who agree with Republicans way way more than Socialist Democrats, just got back into the Republican Party, we would have won this last election and many other lost opportunties...it is "hard" to fight your way into the Republican Party but that is how Trump did it....that is the blueprint for us going forward I believe....we have to get involved and even some of us need to run for elective office...alot of people agree with the MAGA message !!!

The Libertarian Party could be swamped with disaffected Republicans and conservatives. We could take over the leadership and get the party away from weed and hookers and direct it toward fiscal sanity, lowered taxes, no foreign wars and smaller government. The L party is already registered in fifty states and has an existing structure we could use. Most Libertarians would probably stay in the party.

Laugh all you want but Republicans will never win in Illinois without support of Union members many who are socially conservative but can't vote for right to work anti-union crap look what happened to Rauner.

That is true, but look at all the Union jobs and manufacturing jobs that were brought BACK to America under Trump....and look how the Union jobs and mftg jobs etc....continued to be farmed out under DEMOCRATIC Administrations....both sides were pretty well sold out to Corporate money...Both sides....we need a ProUNION Trump like Republcan Party...jobs and unions did not advance under Clinton or Obama/Biden....NAFTA, etc....but your point is right...no Rauner types...exactly !!

Yet your Unions tell you to support the Democrats blindly....why don't the Unions pressure Lori to give the UNION police members a contract? How many CTU teachers love love love Lori, even though she hates hates hates the Police and their union??

I like Dr Turley as he is optimistic, but he was dead wrong the whole time. He is dead wrong on starting a third party also. He uses Europe as examples but our democracy is very different from theirs....third parties rarely have been successful since the Whig Party in the 1800s. It is time to take control of a weak Illinois Republican Party and fight here in our state and move beyond. Conservatives are becoming wimps. We all want to flee to another state, but that is not what Democrats do ANYWHERE!! They organize and fight everywhere, including Texas !!! Time to fight and take control of the Republican Party.

Yes it is time to have a party like the one we had that ended in 1776. The uncivil and immoral are past the gates. In fact so far that they have control of the the entire system stem to stern. The hope and change will be mandatory from here on out.
