Our politicians at work

American taxpayers still reeling from coronavirus lockdowns will be shelling out billions to foreign countries if Congress passes a $2.3 trillion spending bill unveiled Monday.

The 5,593 page budget-busting bill was posted online Monday afternoon, only hours before House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said a vote would be held.

For some countries, Christmas came early:

$169,739,000 to Vietnam, including $19 million to remediate dioxins (page 1476).

Unspecified funds to “continue support for not-for-profit institutions of higher education in Kabul, Afghanistan that are accessible to both women and men in a coeducational environment” (page 1477).

$198,323,000 to Bangladesh, including $23.5 million to support Burmese refugees and $23.3 million

for “democracy programs” (page 1485).

$130,265,000 to Nepal for “development and democracy programs” (page 1485).

Pakistan: $15 million for “democracy programs” and $10 million for “gender programs” (page 1486).

Sri Lanka: Up to $15 million “for the refurbishing of a high endurance cutter,” which is a type of patrol boat (page 1489).

$505,925,000 to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama to “address key factors that contribute to the migration of unaccompanied, undocumented minors to the United States” (pages 1490-1491).

$461,375,000 to Colombia for programs related to counternarcotics and human rights (pages 1494-1496).

$74.8 million to the “Caribbean Basin Security Initiative” (page 1498).

$33 million “for democracy programs for Venezuela” (page 1498).

Unspecified amount to Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Curacao, and Trinidad and Tobago “for assistance for communities in countries supporting or otherwise impacted by refugees from Venezuela” (page 1499).

$132,025,000 “for assistance for Georgia” (page 1499).

$453 million “for assistance for Ukraine” (page 1500).

Rep. Andy Biggs slammed the bill before the details even emerged:

“Just another bill we have to pass before the American people discover all the goodies that special interests jammed into it over the past week,” he wrote.

As a middle class caucasian, I follow the news, reading the writings of those who've investigated the inner workings of the swamp, monitored the financial transactions of political family members who've joined their "sponsors" at the trough, feeding off the government teat domestically and more lucratively on international deals which are tougher to monitor. The housing deals Biden's brother James got in Iran, the Clinton debacle with cell phone networks in Haiti following the hurricanes which left the island without electricity and phone service. The Burisma scandal, the Clinton involvement in Uranium 1 sale to Canada-Russia.
All of them masterful grifting on a massive scale. And the arrogance they showed when their schemes came to light. The Hunter Biden money laundering, his partnership with Chris Heinz and the nephew of Whitey Bulger. And as Hunter acknowledged in a letter to his children, the thievery has been going on for more than 30 years. The president elect fronting for Chinas admission into the world trade organization, his pleadings that China is "our friend", etc.

The elitist crowd thats been running the halls of Congress, enacting laws, making allowances for this country's adversaries in exchange for their own profit. Makes you feel kind of stupid doesn't it. Sort of like having your trust in institutions and your good will exploited. It sickens me. Its a disease that now permeates our government, as well as our educational institutions. Our intellectual property has been taken, while our representatives have given away classified security information for what? Some campaign dollars and having their egos stroked as well as their libidos.

Meanwhile, the other profiteer out there, whose money and influence empowers the remaining groups that will destroy and feed on what's left of our American carcass goes unabated, with local leaders ignoring state criminal statutes by opening the prisons, setting inmates free, and rewarding them with taxpayer dollars as compensation for wrongful conviction lawsuits.

Even our religious institutions are eliminating the tenants of our faith. Recently the Pope spoke of more tolerance of homosexual acts as well as allowance of aborted fetal material being permitted, if necessary, in the development of vaccines.

The bottom line, ladies and gentlemen is that we've been raped by an elitist system that's still laughing all the way to the bank. They've sold our country out to enemies. We, as taxpayers, are being hit with massive charges to subsidize countries we have no knowledge of. Surely someone allocating monies for these countries must have some financial stake in adding this funding to our taxpayer burden.

And the faith we placed in politicians who led us to believe they'd end it all was greatly misplaced. And in case you think that your family gatherings in the future will include discussions about how things used to be "in the good old days", well, that's being erased day by day. Like someone taking an eraser to our country's entire history. Its wrong. It has to stop, but what will it take to stop it?
