Internet Interruptions

Beginning this past Monday, thousands of websites started mysteriously going down. The whole net is running slow. There were several brownouts in Chicago yesterday afternoon.

I have to ask is somebody probing and testing Internet defenses in preparation for something bigger? Imagine a grid down situation in several key swing states. Would that stop the election from occurring. I'm just asking.

Meanwhile, keep your gas tanks full and food pantry stocked.

Speaking of brownouts, you should see (or smell) Eddie “Stovepipe” Johnson’s couch.
It smells like DiCola’s when the electric goes out.

The theme of this blog has changed. We are now headed into a period of extreme political and economic troubles. We want to increase everyone's awareness and show them how to weather the storm. We are going to begin including articles and videos on prepping (food, water, shelter, medicine, self-defense,) basic economics and general SHTF lifestyle changes.

I am not going to be critical of 19th ward politicians. They tend to do the best job they can with very limited resources, and don't need to be beaten up. In fact, people should be helping them as they are among the last "normal" leaders in Illinois.

I am keeping the 19th Ward Chicago name because of the rich blog history going back to 2010 and because there is a ready-made base of similar-thinking readers. For now on, the 19th Ward of Chicago will be mainly a point of reference, an observation deck if you will. A place where allot of good-natured, normal-thinking people still live and can safely view the dysfunction overtaking America. Write whatever you want about whatever or whomever you want. Just keep it true and not vulgar.

At all times, we am going to comply with Blogspot's community standards. We have seen what happens when there is not such compliance.

We will never publish threats of physical violence or baseless attacks on people or institutions.
