This is not something that needs to be said...

The tranquility of the 19th Ward neighborhood was shattered on Sunday afternoon by four thugs who found their way to Western Ave and plied their trade. That kind of violence is not and will not ever be tolerated by the residents. The political leadership is expected to oversee the following.

the best detectives are put on this case
prompt arrest
no bail
speedy prosecution where the max sentences are sought including the death penalty

Anything less that that will put the criminals on notice that we are soft.

They don't have any restaurants in the hood. Lack of tipping and complaining about the food is their mantra. My food didnt taste right. Mhhhmmm. I don't feel I should have to pay for this. Btw, give me a to go meal for free to make up for my inconvenience. Mhhmmmm.

The theme of this blog has changed. We are now headed into a period of extreme political and economic troubles. We want to increase everyone's awareness and show them how to weather the storm. I am not going to be critical of 19th ward politicians. They tend to do the best job they can with very limited resources, and don't need to be beaten up. In fact, people should be helping them as they are among the last "normal" leaders in Illinois.

I am keeping the 19th Ward Chicago name because of the rich blog history going back to 2010 and because there is a ready-made base of similar-thinking readers. For now on, the 19th Ward of Chicago will be mainly a point of reference, an observation deck if you will. A place where allot of good-natured, normal-thinking people still live and can safely view the dysfunction overtaking America. Write whatever you want about whatever or whomever you want. Just keep it true and not vulgar.

At all times, we am going to comply with Blogspot's community standards. We have seen what happens when there is not such compliance.

We will never publish threats of physical violence or baseless attacks on people or institutions.
