NEW YORK CITY SETS UP "CHECKPOINTS" TO ENFORCE COVID QUARANTINE; WILL CHICAGO FOLLOW?
NEW YORK CITY - Wednesday, New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio announced the city would be setting up "checkpoints" at key entry points in order to enforce the city's 14-day mandatory COVID-19 quarantine.
Since Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot is like-minded with DeBlasio, the question is raised, will Chicago soon be setting up similar checkpoints on the Dan Ryan Expressway, Michigan Ave, Lake Shore Drive and other major access locations? The mayor already has placed a
14-day self-imposed quarantine for those returning or arriving from states that have higher-than-average COVID cases.
