City Order

Travelers to Chicago from states with COVID surges must quarantine, city orders (LIVE UPDATES)

Here’s what we know today about the continuing spread of the coronavirus and its ripple effects in Chicago and Illinois.

The latest

Travelers to Chicago from states seeing a surge in new coronavirus cases are being told they must quarantine for two weeks under a new public health order that takes effect Monday.
The order applies, for now, to people coming or returning to Chicago from 15 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah.
The order, issued Thursday by Chicago Department of Public Health Commissioner Allison Arwady, directs travelers “entering or returning to Chicago from states experiencing a surge in new COVID-19 cases to quarantine for a 14-day period from the time of last contact within the identified state.”

Mayor Little Larry Leftfoot should self quarantine until his Mayoral term is over. Chicago and society in general would be a much better place.....

    2. Without checkpoints and car pullovers, this edict is unenforceable. (☉。☉)!

  2. Sure, airlines could enforce it. There's no enforcement for truck drivers, helicopters and boats.
