What is the point in kicking this man? He has been gone six months.

City releases bodycam footage of ex-CPD Supt. Eddie Johnson asleep at the wheel

The footage shows two officers walk up to Johnson’s SUV. Johnson can be seen
in the driver’s seat with his eyes closed as one officer shines a flashlight inside.

Quite frankly, as the murder stats suggest, he did an excellent job as superintendent. Police morale was high and everyone liked him. These days, everyone is on pins and needles, afraid to act and hesitant to police.

She has gotten to where she is through affirmative action and therefore hates the police, just like Kim Fox and Barack Obama.

  4. Hi Murph (*_*) I agree about kicking him down. (+_+)

I politely disagree about the murder rates and police morale, because Second City Cop's archives indicate otherwise. :0

Due to governmental regulations, police can't do much and neither can the superintendent. :-[

What would Eddie have done to another copper who was forced out, release the video or bury it? Eddie was the accidental Superintendo, a useful idiot... I would bury it, the guy has been shamed enough, serves no purpose to release it.

Never a fan of Supt. Johnson, Rahm put there after failed appointments of Weiss and McCarthy. Nice guy they said, but apparently a player. Got caught dipping in the company pool and lost his job. In most instances this stuff would be shoved to the bottom of the laundry pile. But not with this Mayor. Lets forget her initial take at "saving his family from humiliation". She paraded this episode in front of the media at every opportunity. While its understood the FOIA request is what got this released, the entire incident was a matter that lacked discretion on all sides, Johnson's as well as the Mayor. The end of the story was he lost his job and his indiscretions were put out there for everyone to see. And this vindictive bitch on the 5th floor got another opportunity to point her incompetent fingers elsewhere. Karma's a bitch.
