used to like the police, until they gave her a parking ticket
police and fire departments.
Sadly, commissioner Bridget Gainer, who comes from a solid police family, voted against the proposal. Up until recently, this woman had been serious mayoral material. Now? I'm not so sure. Seems she is taking extremist liberal thinking of hating the police, to heart.
Maybe because Bridget still believes in privacy. I applaud her for this, what's next that they pass to invade your privacy? All first responders have PPE. Anyone who thinks this is a malicious intent against first responders is not thinking clearly. Stop jumping to conclusions about why she voted the way she did. Have the decency to ask her why What a presemtious article.
ReplyDeleteWhat pray tell is the reason?
DeleteWHATS THE WHY?
DeleteOnce I got a ticket. hated cops ever since.
Deleteperfect, there are laws-hippa, giving med history. then there is the right to privacy thing. love police/fire but can't step on others rights for another.
DeleteThinking she voted against cops is ridiculous, I see people above are willing to forfeit their privacy and Hippa.

Why is this not National news?
Most media covers White on Black violent crimes, NOT Black on White violent crimes. ☹️😮
DeleteIf you hate the police. Fine. I can accept that. But I would like to know so that I dont vote for you again.
ReplyDeleteJust like Lightfoot. All these politicians hate somebody.
ReplyDeleteOn May 21, the Chicago Tribune reported six commissioners voted against it. Why is only Bridget mentioned? 😑
ReplyDeleteBecause she was the shining star. The person from a great police family. The person who offered the most is terms of ability to get good things done. The only one on that board in a position to get elected mayor of Chicago.
DeleteThank you, Pat. 😃
DeleteShe has enjoyed police support from day one of her political career. For that she owes them. Suddenly their interest are secondary to some liberal theory? That's not the way it works. Dance with the people that brought you to the dance.
ReplyDeletepolice and fire see the real truth is fakes a-hole politicians, our politicians talk a great game, but they have secret aversion to us first responders. "all the police and firefighters do is bitch and moan"
ReplyDeleteFederal HIPPA laws regarding the dissemination of personal medical information could be the reason why.
ReplyDeleteExactly, this article portrays her as being anti-police. I read it as she was not going to violate people's rights. All first responders should treat every contact as if their life depended on it, have we told all first responders who tested positive for AIDS? NO we haven't, now do you see the overreach.
DeleteIt was deemed temporary under the governors emergency order, both AG and CCSAO said it would be HIPPA exempt, allows dispatch to notifying police, fire, paramedics notice of a known covid19 presence at a certain address. no names, no other medical information.
ReplyDeleteyou either support first responders or you dont, but cant have it both ways selling out when worrying about politics.
WOW, she has an MBA and is in government and she isn't a Bar Exam passer. Never went to law school! Probably knows more about managing government than all the elected flunky lawyers that cant find a job and never been in a court room in their life.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention a MILF too!
dude, get your eyes checked
DeleteThe no voters are listed on Alice Yin's Chicago Tribune May 21, 2020 article. 😑
ReplyDeleteU mean she is against o'shits pig allience
