ILLINOIS REVIEW RELEASES LIST OF RECOMMENDED CONSERVATIVE STATE NEWS SOURCES

CHICAGO - Illinois Review is well aware of how difficult it is to find quality media based in Illinois that respects conservative values and is unafraid to cover stories and angles that the state's Democrat-dictated media refuses to carry or even acknowledge exists. That's the key reason we started this news source in 2006.

It's been 14 years we've been working hard to change things in Illinois media, and sadly, things haven't changed much at all - maybe only to get more and more difficult to find dependable news sources that reflect any views other than the Democrat-approved party line. We believe that the state's media is an active participant in Illinois' embarrassing, failed state. It's tragic - and yet the situation continues.

Illinois Review continues to do what we can to provide our faithful readers with information that is not found elsewhere - but we recognize our limitations. We also recognize the excellent quality of conservative news sources that are able to provide badly-needed information in their individual areas of expertise.

With that goal in mind, we have accumulated a list of what we're referring to as a list of IR-recommended news sites - sharing their excellent information withIllinois Review readers because we know how important it is for Illinois conservatives to be well-informed.

This list is not "Republican," because we're sad to say Illinois Republican elected officials are not always conservative. This list is not "Libertarian," because the Libertarian movement needs to establish its own news source reflecting its audience's views. This list of approved media is not "Democrat" because the Democrats already control the state's mainstream media.

Instead, we are including dependable news sources that we hope will appeal and inform those with a conservative perspective.

We can't say we'll endorse every word or topic addressed within these sources. That's our readers' obligation to read with a critical and truth-seeking mindset. Please, please "like" and "share" the stories that interest you - your conservative friends will likely appreciate knowing there are good news sources out there they haven't yet discovered.

Here's our initial IR recommendation list - and if you, as our readers, have ideas of other Illinois-based news sources we should consider adding, please advise us at info@illinoisreview.com.

In addition, we'll work to provide a list of recommended stories several times a week:
