first knock at the door at about 7 pm tonight
If you're a scumbag politician and you're sitting at home on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening and there's a knock on the door and you didn't order a pizza, don't answer it. It will be better to run into the basement and hide behind the furnace. Maybe, just maybe, they will forget about you. But then maybe they won't.
During the past few months, a couple of FBI squads have been working the Chicago political arena. Visiting people at home, visiting their friends and relatives, taking iPhones and iPads and who knows what else, all in pursuit of justice. A few weeks ago they raided offices in McCook, Lyons and Summit. Since then, they have been to Bridgeview, Crestwood, Alsip and Chicago Ridge. I think they are not done.
Multiple indictments will be hitting soon and this will probably be the last Christmas for some time, for more than a few of the culprits.

ReplyDeleteA number of additional FBI teams were sent to Chicago in May 2019 in response to a need to clean things up, after revelations in a Chicago aldermanic scandal. The typical assignment is 2 to 3 years. By the end of their assignments, these teams will have something to show for their efforts.
