Good. I'm a 'protestant' Christian who believes differently. But I'm glad this bishop is not bowing to outside worldly pressures. I wish the current Pope was more Catholic.
Seems like the most expedient way for upper levels of the clergy to pat themselves on the back in the midst of our deteriorating society is to proclaim there is no evil, there are no sanctions on behavior, all those incarcerated are basically honor students and altar boys and the faithful congregants will always bail us out when we go to far fondling our flock. The whole situation has me questioning the socialist Pope and the local Prince of the Church here in Chicago. Amen.
