All this LGBTQ shit is getting old. I voted for this woman as the alternative to the Preckwinkle. I made a mistake. She's in way over her head and her condescending attitude towards anyone with a more centrist point of view will be her undoing. An easy prediction will be 3 more costly years, followed by a decision that the job is bigger than she is and by that time she'll have alienated more than half her base.
The clearance rate for crimes in Chicago continues to plummet. Anybody here ever recall seeing so many videos of crime released to the public seeking help and information. As said many times on SCC, Chicago has gotten the police department they've asked for, and the county government, jail and court system cuts the bad guys loose when the police finally catch them. All the while our taxes go up and up and the city is less and less safe. Camera installation upgrades frighten nobody, they're almost unnecessary since the criminals started posting their lawlessness on social media. It seems the only thing they capture are red light and speeding violations of tax paying citizens. So every where we turn (no pun on right turn on red violations) we get screwed. In face of all this, how can any politician promise a better and safer Chicago for us and our children?
The Left hates the Police because they are the thin blue line that puts their lives at risk to protect us and our way of life. The Left loves anarchists and criminals, not those that protect us from them. I personally take pride in being hated by this grouo of ass clowns that are against everything that I stand for.
Sadly, we are seeing a side of her nobody could have imagined. It may very well be that she is not fit to hold public office, much less the mayor's office.

I cannot remember in my lifetime any mayor who burnt so many bridges so early in her administration, Jane Byrne included.
