Didn't this guy get more than an honorable mention in the Solis tapes.

Proco Joe Moreno, good friend of Alderman Solis and of course, his constituents

much of this from 2nd City Cop
the constituent
This was an entertaining story that unfolded all day yesterday. First up, Proco "Joe" Moreno had his car "stolen" by a "friend" of his:
  • Chicago Ald. Proco “Joe” Moreno said his car was stolen. He filed a police report last month declaring the alleged theft. Now, Moreno says it was all just a big misunderstanding.

WGN’s Meghan Dwyer spoke to the woman behind the wheel — a single mother who said she was shocked to be arrested after Moreno loaned her the car.
this is nothing compared to something else he may have stepped in
The WGN report is a piece of media art, the way it dances around what seems obvious. The woman provided screen shots of text messages where she's sending some rather
personal selfies, "butterfly kisses" and calling him "my love" and his replies telling her he "wants her" after the election. Joe's explanation is a wonder and we can only imagine what Mrs. Proco thought of the WGN report. She probably sent them a thank you note for blacking out her name in at least one of the text messages.

But then, after Joe stepped in the shit, he proceeded to jump up and down in it, admitting he filed the police report under false pretenses after his "constituent" spent the night in jail. Guess what happened next?
  • Detectives have opened an investigation into whether a Chicago alderman filed a false police report.

It comes less than a day after WGN Investigates reported on the strange circumstances surrounding Ald. Proco “Joe” Moreno’s claim that his car had been stolen.

The alderman calls it a “misunderstanding” between him and a woman he says he used to date. She spent the night in jail and has been charged with a misdemeanor after police arrested her driving the alderman’s Audi this week.
So is anyone going to admit that all those new plate readers are already paying dividends by recovering an aldercreature's "borrowed" car? And by putting Crimesha in a politically untenable situation is just icing on the cake.
