The Cook County Board needs to investigate the Inspector General / Board of Ethics and find out why....

not afraid to use force

Preckwinkle controls the Cook County Inspector Generals Office and the Cook County Board of Ethics both of which is in the habit of selective enforcement of  Cook County ethical rules, depending upon political considerations; in effect using these offices as political battering rams. During the past few years these agencies has put out more than a few hoax stories and are always providing cover for Preckwinkle and her allies. Consider....

  • During the past year, the IG has laid down on cases where it was obvious to all that hanky panky was going on, yet the culprit(s) had contributed heavily to Preckwinkle.
  • During the past year, the Cook County Board of Ethics has not enforced certain campaign fundraising rules against certain candidates after previously taking a strict, by the book, position on those candidates fundraising tactics. What was the reason for such a policy shift? Could it be that those candidates now support the Preckwinkle for Chicago campaign?
MUST A FEDERAL GRAND JURY CLEAN EVERYTHING UP?

We need the Fed in here and quick. The GAO would have a field day. When the inmates are in charge of the asylum, we all pay big time.

  2. Investigate Toni Preckwinkle1/08/2019

Toni Preckwinkle should be investigated by the U.S. Attorney's office. She should step down from the campaign and her office until the investigation is completed because neither Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan or Kwame Raoul will investigate Preckwinkle. Kim Foxx, her hand picked supported states attorney will not investigate her.Ditto for Pritzker. They are beholden to her for votes and support.
Preckwinkle is buddies with Clinton and Obama. No local governmental agency will investigate her.
Here's why the US government should investigate her:

Preckwinkle used her clout and threat of retaliation against a sitting judge during the criminal trial of her son, who was then acquitted.

At least 10 million dollars in federal funding that came from a federal Homeland Security grant designated for the Cook County Emergency Management Department is unaccounted for.

Preckwinkle has received questionable contributions from Ed Burke, as well as campaign support. The same charge can be made for Kim Foxx.

Preckwinkle did not report her campaign contribution to the state.

Preckwinkle has turned a blind eye to the wide scale massive sex abuse scandal in the Chicago Public Schools. She was a former CPS teacher at Calumet High, and has the endorsement and support of the SEIU and the teachers union which compromises her ability to investigate CPS.

Preckwinkle knowingly carted political materials in a County vehicle slated for security use.

Preckwinkle turned a blind eye to the sexual misconduct of her chief of staff, and took no action against him until he was outed by the local media. Preckwinkle then fired him.

Preckwinkle has used her position of authority with the Cook County I.G. to stymie any investigations of misconduct into her conduct or that of her administration.

This is just a partial list of why Preckwinkle should not seek or retain any public office.

I'm not putting this out because I support an opposing candidate.

I'm just sick about what the likes of Preckwinkle, Pritzker, Madigan, Emanuel, Daley and Burke has done and is continuing to do to this city.

Ethics? Why not have somebody investigate the reluctance of the State's Attorney's office to approve felony charges of arrests made by police agencies in Cook County. The position of the President that the Cook County Jail houses too many arrestees of "color" turns a blind eye towards criminal statutes on the books. Every day, there is a posting on some blog in our area that details the disapproval of charges on arrests made. Likewise, the President's position, along with Sheriff Einstein who prefers to allow arrestees to go free on electronic monitoring without any serious tracking of where upwards of 500 inmates out on the streets by way of electronic monitoring. All of the involved politicians, making policy decisions that fly in the face of state statutes, endanger the citizens of Cook County. How they have the balls to face the electorate and ask for support escapes me. No pun intended on the "escapes" me.

I think that what you composed was actually very logical.

But, think on this, what if you were to write a
killer title? I am not saying your content is not solid.,
but what if you added a title that grabbed folk's attention? I mean "The Cook County Board needs to investigate the Inspector General / Board of Ethics and find out why...." is kinda plain. You should look at Yahoo's
front page and note how they create article titles to grab people interested.

You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to get readers excited
about what you've written. Just my opinion, it could bring
your posts a little bit more interesting.

If you have inside information or complaints about preckwinkle's potentially criminal misconduct, forward it to the FBI guy that took down Eddie Burke.
