Mad Dog is Mad

Trump did the right thing getting him out of there early, before he was able to sabotage the administration
As if President Trump’s stream of tweets defending his decision to pull US troops from Syria – and his lashing out at the apoplexy of th US military establishment – didn’t clearly communicate Trump’s anger over the resignation of Defense Jim “Mad Dog” Mattis (who said in his resignation letter that the Syria decision was the last straw), President Trump tweeted Sunday that he had appointed Patrick Shanahan, Mattis’s deputy and a former Boeing exec, to serve as the acting Secretary of Defense, effectively confirming reports that he was pushing to terminate Mattis immediately, ahead of the Feb. 28 departure date that Mattis had set out in his letter.

The above has to be the longest sentence in history.

It may very well be that Mattis was never on Trump's team.

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., on Sunday praised President Donald Trump for doing “exactly what he promised” by withdrawing U.S. troops from Syria — and derided the “armchair generals” in Washington who “want to keep us at war forever.”
In an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Paul said he’s “very proud” of Trump’s determination to get troops out of the Middle East.

The only two people that ought to get booted from the Trump administration are his daughter and son in law. It makes it appear that Trump is disconnected from his duties as president. We see him at press conferences and executive order signings. I thought the open meeting with Schumer and Pelosi made him look like a goof, especially when he tried to walk back who was responsible for the government shutdown, 3 days after he said he would be the one to shut it down. I voted for Trump, for president, not as a game show host. So dial down the Tweets and get the goddamn wall built would ya

The Middle East needs tyrants like Assad, sadam Hussein, and gadafi. Islam is not compatible with our western Christian values. Putin knows how to deal with this. Besides every time Americans meddle with middle eastern affairs the Christians are the first to get slaughtered. Leave that sandbox alone and quarantine Islam to that region
