White Sox lose 14-2.......time for the owners to sell the 30-61 team

These owners could give a rats ass about winning....... ......enough of this 3rd rate operation.

Fans need to start a boycott of the Sox.

  1. I've preached that mantra ever since 94 when it came out that Reinsdorf was one of the main architects of the strike. And let's not forget the player sell off of 97 when the Sox were only 3 back of Cleveland and Reinsdorf deemed the team unwinnable. He ain't going anywhere, but alas one can dream can't they?

We went to a game last year when Buhrle's number was retired. Beer was about $9.50 for Modelo, there were only a few players I recognized. It looks like the rebuild everyone is touting is really just, put the least expensive players you can on the field. There's nothing exciting about this team, there's nobody that stands out. I think its nice that Reinsdorf gave the disabled kid from Tinley Park a job doing the games, but frankly those Sox math trivia questions have me checking to see what's on Netflix.

Anyone remember when Reinsdorf threatened to move the team to St. Petersburg and then Gov Thompson strong armed the legislature into funding the new Comiskey Park. Yeah, major league ball in Florida, where 80% of the population are retirees on fixed incomes. Go ahead Jerry, move the team. Check the attendance figures for the Marlins and the Rays. Minor leagues and spring training attendances averages more.

Which by the way I think is bullshit that rents the Illinois Sports authority get from the White Sox is predicated on attendance. So the Sox keep the lions share of the concessions, and who gets the money when they re-name the stadium, which is the biggest crock of shit in professional sports. That's probably the reason none of the taverns that existed on 35th Street (McCuddy's for one) re-opened when the new park opened. But the bottom line is Reinsdorf couldn't care less about the talent on the field as long as the revenues from TV and Cable keep rolling in. Remember when you could count on seeing a game on 1 station. Now you need a program just to try and find what station they're playing on. Nah, you're right, time to move on.

The concept of White Sox baseball is nothing but a scam on south side residents.

Hey, you could support the major league team from Chicago. The one at Addison and Clark?
