Since March’s primary election, Democratic gubernatorial nominee J.B. Pritzker has spent more than $21 million, more than doubling the $8.4 million spent by Republican incumbent Bruce Rauner.
That’s a marked reversal from 2014, when Rauner outspent his Democratic opponent three-to-one over the same period.
Rauner has been proving himself as quite inept.....
- signing more gun control legislation
- permitting the Dan Ryan xway to be shut down for some bs protest
- failing to get enough signatures for a referendum
- just can't get along with legislative leaders
- can go on and on
Rauner is the 4th consecutive idiot governor we have had. No wonder Illinois is a mess. He will be gone soon.
Sadly Murph I have to agree,Pritzker will more than likely annihilate Rauner,then what? Fatso ain't got a clue either. He just wants the job so he's got something else to add to his grave marker

Rauner has no power and no influence. He took the heart out of any center right leaning voter after he caved on guns, taxes, abortion etc... he is just slightly a better choice than BJ. But BJ will win and raise our taxes and institute a constitutionally illegal "progressive" income tax that will further erode the economic stability of our state. Many of those wealthy people will vote with their feet and take their incomes out of the hands of socialist democrats and many will take jobs with them as well. So less of us will be left to fund the growing government. How will that be good for government pension recipients?
