This verbal assault was written for a scripted television program. The program has writers, editors and producers. It wasn't an off the cuff ad libbed remark. Production facilities have 5 second delays available. If there were any justice, this person would have been fired, the FCC would be looking to suspend TBS's broadcast license. The legal protections allowing criticisms of public figures wouldn't apply and its doubtful they could hide behind the first amendment of free speech with the intended malice of this commentary. Bottom line is I hope Trump's daughter sues the shit out of this broadcaster and TBS. The oops, I'm sorry apology after the fact doesn't cut it for me.

A: Yes. Both 47 U.S.C. §559 and 18 U.S.C. §1468(a) respectively bar the transmission of obscene material over a cable system and the knowing utterance or distribution of obscene matter by means of a cable television system or subscription service.
Q: What can a person do if he or she is attacked personally on a cablecast?
A: The personal attack rule applies when "an attack is made upon the honesty, character, integrity, or like personal qualities of an identified person or group" during origination cablecasting concerning controversial issues of public importance. A cable system must give the following to the person or group attacked within one week: (1) notification and identification of the cablecast; (2) a script, tape or accurate summary of the attack; and (3) an offer of a reasonable opportunity to respond over the cable facilities.
George Soros, hmm, isn't he the Hungarian billionaire, that showers millions and millions of dollars of political candidates to espouse his philosophy of what America, specifically the United States should be, how it should be run, who should be in charge and what social and economic policies should be advanced. Hasn't his money funded things like the Occupy Movement and the more militant segments of that group that trash businesses and promote rioting? Isn't this the sort of shit that Mueller has spent about $17 million so far trying to say Trump has colluded with Russia and obstructed justice?
The lefties out there think we're all senile and crazy because we believe in our institutions that have survived almost 2 1/2 centuries. We believe in paying our way, governing ourselves and resisting outside influences that want to eradicate our constitutional rights. All of this probably sounds like hokey to the millennials and Bernie supporters out there that think everything should be free and that they should live in their parents basement and free load as its the parents responsibility to support them ad infinitum.
Reading some of the other blogs, its been pointed out that the media has been overly selective in what news they report and that which they ignore. They work hand in hand with left leaning politicians that don't want you to know that more than 300 black youths (?) tossed the downtown area up for grabs over Memorial day weekend. They didn't tell you that black youths were shoving people off of Navy Pier on night last week. God only knows what the water quality, temperature, rocks, breakwaters and other hazards endangered their lives. Suffice to say, if a CFD diver lost his life in the water after being trained for water rescues, how dangerous would it be for an unsuspecting citizen to get pushed off the pier?
But this is the shit those of us who live here fear. Everything is more expensive and quality of life is disintegrating. Emmanuel is issuing ID cards to undocumented immigrants and spending your money to welcome those who contribute nothing to the quality of life here. And all of this political correctness is being framed and dictated by who?
Every night you can hear the sirens of first responders in the neighborhood. Most are just passing through, going west to Christ Hospital from the east. We get email notices from the police, forwarded to us by the Alderman. Should we be grateful for being made aware of the rising crime in our neighborhood? Or should we be asking why the police aren't catching and prosecuting those responsible for these crimes. Compounding all this of course are the county officials, who don't approve charges, who I-bond those that are arrested and the judges who set these predators free with low/or no bond.
Drive around the neighborhoods or better yet go to Realtor.com and see what's for sale in 60655 or 60643. Families have stuck around long enough for their kids to graduate from their schools and they're getting out. They're not buying into the old bullshit that Beverly, Mt. Greenwood and Morgan Park are the last outposts on the South side.
Its getting like the 60's in 60620 all over again. But hey, lets re-elect an elitist sheriff who knows absolutely fucking nothing about the sworn duties of his office, throws pizza parties for inmates that whack off in front of female employees and defers to the County Board president with regard to what they claim is a disproportionate number of people of color that are awaiting trial. Lets empty some more cell blocks and save some money so the already top heavy administration can get even heavier. Lets tout a Cook County commissioner who has the worst attendance at the county board than anyone as mayoral timber. If you stop to think about what's going on in the city, its remarkable people here still come out to vote. For what? The only solutions these geniuses can come up with is to find new things to tax. Ok, I'm done, end of rant.
There are currently 486 homes for sale by realtors in zip codes 60655 and 60643. At present its unknown how many homes are being offered for sale by owner. This is a lot of homes and there's an awful lot of people looking to get out of Dodge. Think about how this affects the tax base in our community. Not a good sign that this many people want to leave.
